APPRECIATING ARTS

Visual arts include painting,


sculpture, and architecture while
music, dance, and theatre are
considered performing arts.
Literature may be included under
performing arts especially when
stories and poems are converted
into scripts for a drama or a play.
This study of the arts is aimed at
engaging the audience/learners
with the work that would make
them understand art not only for
itself but from the view of the
artist, the period, the culture, and
the society in which it was created.
AIMS FOR LEAMERS TO HAVE GOOD ART AWARENESS THAT
WHEN THEY LOOK AT O EXPERIENCE A PIECE OF ART THEY

Art is here to stay. It is man's legacy.

has sought to express the workings of
his mind and achieve immortality.
