1. Visiting largely undeveloped landscapes (mountains, plateaus, hills, cliffs, valleys, etc.

), enables people
to reconnect with nature, to refresh their minds and bodies and to gain a greater appreciation of the
natural heritage.

- Visiting mountains, hills, valleys and beautiful landscapes gives us relaxation. It clears our mind,
helps us think clearly, and relieves us from having emotional stress. As what they have said, we
are part of the nature rather we have connections to the nature. I once visit a beautiful
landscape here in Siaton, and all I can say is that, it was a beautiful experience. It has a beautiful
scenery and it relaxes my mind.

2. Landscapes play an important role in directly supporting the tourism industry. Give specific examples
with pictures in PowerPoint presentation.

- Having beautiful landscape in a country also boost the country’s economy. High quality
landscapes can strengthen local economies by attracting residents and investment to an
area, as well as tourists. The country could use this opportunity to make money out of it. By
using tourism to commercialize a country’s beautiful landscape improves the country’s tourism
industry because the government will start enhancing it and the country will benefit from it.

3. Rural landscapes support a range of primary production activities such as farming, forestry and
horticulture. Give specific examples and benefits for the people.

- We know that forests and trees help to sustain agriculture by stabilizing soils and climate,
controlling water flows, providing shade and shelter, and providing habitat for pollinators and
natural predators of agricultural pests, among other things. Forests and trees, when properly
incorporated into agricultural landscapes, can thereby boost agricultural output. Forests and
trees also contribute to the food security of hundreds of millions of people, who rely on them
for food, energy, and money, even in difficult times. Rural landscapes provide the primary
resources that people need, such as timber, food, energy, water, and etc.
