CERTIFICATION
Once the course has been completed, all attendees will receive a
certificate. We will issue a certificate only to those who attended
80% of the course. Certificates will be issued a week after course
completion, and will be signed by South Arm and the ORE GEOLOGY
Conference and the presenter M.Sc. Samuel Canchaya.

METHODOLOGY
The teaching activity is developed through interactive theorical
sessions. The teaching will be conducted online. Each participant is
expected to have access to a laptop or computer.

COURSE FRAMEWORK

INTRODUCTION

What is stacked on the "pads" and what passes through the

metallurgical circuits are rocks, with a minimum metallic content,
for which a global geometallurgical characterization is essential;
For this reason, chemical analyzes are not enough, it is necessary
to carry out mineralogical analysis of gange and ores, of
gangue-ore intergrowths and also systematic measurements of
mechanical competence, density, etc.

You will learn about a new alternative to do geometallurgy,

based on the WHOLE ROCK CONCEPT, which supports the
Geometallurgical Block Model (MGMB) and zero-waste Mining.

The case of high sulfidation epithermal gold deposits will be

addressed in a special way, explaining the alternative of
obtaining an MGMB from the geometallurgical logging of
Mineralogical-Textural Assemblages (EMTs) and Fragmentation
Geological Units (UGFs).
