Today we use Information Technology in almost every part of our lives

whether it be in education, banking, agriculture or any other field. Sharing of
knowledge has become much easier in recent times because of the
advancements made in Information Technology. The most commonly used
aspect of Information Technology is Internet and because of this we have
different platforms which work on remote basis and do not require a land to sit
and work. Internet has made access to information easy and quick. IT has a
huge impact on our lives. It has made the world so small as most of the things
can be done by sitting at one place. Information Technology basically is the use
of computers or any other physical device to create, possess or store the
information. Every single day a new advancement is made in the field of
technology and almost everything is affected by it whether be it in a good way

has impacted our lives in both good and bad ways. IT has made our lives a lot

world by making a phone call or through video conferencing. One of the best
advantage of information technology is that it helps in storing loads and loads
of information. Information technology allows us to do things in one place.
Paying electricity bills, telephone bills, income tax returns, booking railway or
flight tickets has now become the game of pressing a button. It can easily be
done through the internet. We need not to write and post letters anymore, our
message can be conveyed easily through e- mail, SMS, WhatsApp etc. The
rapid improvement in the field of technology has simulated the globalization
process so fast. Information Technology can solve several problems such as
poverty, illiteracy, disease, unemployment, etc. The quality of education in the
classroom can be greatly improved through the use of computer. In the recent
times, the education sector of whole world was solely dependent on Internet.
The healthcare sector showed a lot of improvement in the patient care.

On the other hand, because of Information Technology data security has

become a major concern these days due to which privacy of an individual
comes in danger. IT has lead to an increase in cyber-crimes and terrorism. IT
manipulates an individual to an extent that later he ends up losing his money
sometimes. It is the main reason of socially disconnecting from each other as
we are too much relied on the gadgets. It is a type of addiction one is having
and suffering a lot because of it. It makes one lazy and generates obesity.

Information Technology is revolutionizing the world with its best but still have
some concerns. The IT sector has shown tremendous growth and has
generated a lot of jobs for the IT professional. It is a boon for the world if used
in a positive manner and vice versa.
