easier for people to stay in touch with their dear ones .There are no barriers of time and space
now people can easily connect with each other across the borders .The instant audio and
video communication and live video calls have greatly revolutionized the world

People can communicate by electronic mailor or email. This communication is instant and
costs no money to send than a local telephone call which is expensive .It is cheap to send an
email than convectional mail. Emails are time independent as they can be sent anytime of the
day than convectional mails which can be sent during normal working hours .Emails allow
multiple addressing and emails can be saved for future use or reference

However not everyone has equipment to send emails, Junk mail is also a problem, one can
spend a lot of time looking through mails that are just adverts

society .However social media can spread misleading and harmful information .In today’s

on quite difficult to separate the truth out of untrue information .The news that people receive

newspaper radio on station, online gaming has become a global issue today .Through internet
millions of people play online games. Many of the games are reported to be very dangerous
especially the young adults and children who are badly involved ,further more young
generation may tend to be addicted to internet .Internet addiction creates the problems of
social isolation and disturbances in relations .Excessive use of internet has brought issue of
isolation of individual from main stream of society

The excessive use of internet badly impacts the psyche and mental capability of individuals,
The youths feel less interested in the current society ,They are becoming more interested in
the virtual world. Given the fact that nothing is true in today’s virtual world, Internet displays
things in a way that are not completely true. The young generation of today that is completely
born and reared in a digital world feel uninterested in getting along with the old
generation .There is a compromising gap between the two , and the gap increases day by day

In conclusion internet is certainly one of the greatest invention of today s world.It is really a
powerfulmediumof progress and prosperity in allmanners of lifethough it has its ills as well
yet we can never denyit being a powerfulmedium of progress in the world today and certainly
