My Role in the Pandemic in Pictures

FACEMASK

This photo captures an important

meaning amidst the pandemic. Indeed,
it is related to the pandemic because
everyone is required to wear this to
prevent the entry of pathogens through
the airway and have the role of
protecting both the wearer and the
surrounding people. Somehow, this will
eradicate the rapid spread of the so-
called virus.

VACCINATION
This photo was taken by myself during the
vaccination at the public plaza of Gen. MacArthur. It is
related to the pandemic, for it helps to lessen and solve
the spread of the virus. Hence, vaccination is the safest,
and simplest step to protect humans from dangerous
diseases before they come into direct contact with the
virus. Moreover, vaccines make the human body's
defenses more resistant to infection from certain
viruses. So, vaccines also make the immune system
stronger. All in all, vaccination is one of the things that
is important and needed by the community.

QUARANTINE
FACILITIES

This photo was taken at Central Elem.

School, Gen. MacArthur. Quarantine facilities
are important because it is a life-saving period of
necessary isolation of a person with a highly
contagious disease or has been exposed to it.
Obviously, it is related to this pandemic.
Indeed, it conveys a good practice that the
governments and health authorities use
quarantines to stop the spread of contagious
diseases.

COMMUNITY PANTRY

This photo is a ticket for the community pantry

in our place. This conveys a good practice; altruism
do exist in times of crisis. Feeding the hungry and
binding people together are the intended purposes
of community pantries. Although, this cannot save
us from the pandemic for the basic reason that they
are designed for a specific purpose. They fill the
stomach, but they cannot eradicate the virus. At
least, they can put food on the table for a family.

Handwashing Area

This photo was taken by myself at the

Heath Center in Gen. MacArthur, it is
related to the pandemic because handwashing is
one of the most effective ways to eradicate the
spread of virus by killing certain germs on the
skin. Hence, this picture conveys a good
practice in fighting this deadly virus.

AMBULANCE

This photo is an ambulance owned by

the LGU of Gen. MacArthur, Eastern
Samar. This is significant and is related to
this pandemic. This plays a vital role in
transferring covid and non-covid patients
to a nearby hospitals or in isolation area.
