Groups 4, 5 will present on Dec 30th , 2021

-Each Group will present for 20-25 min and will have 10-15 min for Questions and Answers (totally
about 35 min).

-Each Group will prepare PPT slide file for presentation and submit it as a Handout within the Week
of Presentation. The presentation topics are subjected to be included in the Final Exam.

Suggested Contents for presentation:


+Commercial aspect:
- Current situation of production in the world and in Vietnam.
- Some main producers + example of well-known brand-names
+Technological aspect:
-Quality/nutritional specifications/standards for the product(s).
-Technological process and manufacturing flow chart.
-Description of each step in the flow chart by showing unit operations involved and
equipment/machinery needed as well as the input and output of materials and energy.
-Assuming a certain production capacity (in XYZ kg/h, L/h, ton/day, etc.), show examples of
calculation (or estimation) for raw material and/or energy requirement for each step in the
manufacturing process (its is just an estimation of energy, materials input based on production
capacity, electrical power of equipment/machine and %of waste at each step. It is NOT an energy
balance or mass balance).
Rule:
Missing on a day of his/her presentation: -60% of the score; other day: -30%.
