NEGATIVE FORM
Para negar, agregamos la palabra “not” después de la expresión “There are”. Es muy sencillo.
En el siguiente cuadro se indica oraciones en forma afirmativa y negativa.

There are many churches in the city There are not many churches in the city.
There are some parks in my town. There are not some parks in my town.
There are few cinemas in my neighborhood. There are not few cinemas in my neighborhood.

 Es usual también, que se unan las dos palabras: “are” y “not” para formar una sola “aren’t” que
podemos utilizarla en la negación.
 Puedes utilizar la forma “There is not” o “There aren’t”, cualquiera es correcta. Su significado
igualmente es “No hay”

1. There aren’t many churches in the city.

2. There aren’t some parks in my town.
3. There aren’t few cinemas in my neighborhood.
