1."However many holy words you speak however many you read, what good will they
do you if you do not act on them?”

INSIGHTS:

My insights about the 1st Picture QOUTE given is that even if you go to church and pray
every Sunday or every holy week , or even how many holy bible you read or speak ,if
you do not act good or respect or do good to the people around you it is still no use
even if you are called holy. If your actions don't live up to your words, you have nothing
to say or do. In short its still nothing.

2. Just as a might boulder stirs not with the wind, so the wise are never moved either by
praise or blame
My insights about the 2nd Picture Quote given is that the wise remain unmoved and
unruffled both by praise and humiliation. The wise remain unshaken under all
vicissitudes of life, like the solid rock that withstands the buffetings of wind, unmoved.

3.      Whom did he meet in the street and where was he from?
He meets a foreigner in the street. A red-faced foreigner in khaki clothes, the foreigner came
from somewhere in America but it’s not mentioned in the story but it speaks in English.

The old man and the foreigner had a conversation with different languages where they didn’t
understand each other.
5.      What moral can you get from the story?
The story A Horse and Two Goats gives a message that what happens when two people from
different culture meet. One is the foreigner from America while the other is Muni who can speak
only Tamil and has never stopped out of his village Kritam. It is a sensitive but amusing story.
And for us to connect to other people who can’t understand our language we need to use sign
language in order to understand each other.
6.      How important communication and understanding is between two people?
We need to communicate clearly to avoid misunderstandings that may cause hurt, anger,
resentment or confusion.
Good communication skills are essential to allow others and yourself to understand information
more accurately and quickly. In contrast, poor communication skills lead to frequent
misunderstanding and frustration. Communication forms a part of your self-concept, and it helps
you understand yourself and others, solve problems and learn new things, and build your
career.
Being able to communicate effectively is perhaps the most important of all life skills. It is what
enables us to pass information to other people, and to understand what is said to us.
