1. Diana,  Ella  and  Faith  have  a  total  of 1512 pieces of jewellery. The ratio of the number of pieces 
of  jewellery  that  Diana  had  to  the total number of pieces of jewellery is 2:7. Ella gave away 190 
pieces  of  her  jewellery  and  Faith  gave  away  ¼  of  her  jewellery.  After  which,  the  ratio  of  the 
number of pieces of jewellery Ella had to the number of pieces of jewellery Faith had was 2:1. 
 
Find out the number of pieces of jewellery each of them have respectively initially.

2. The  school  prepared  a  total  of  120  Gold  medals,  Silver  medals  and  Bronze  medals  for  the 
upcoming  sports  day.  30%  of  the  medals  are  Gold  medals.  After  giving away 20 Silver medals 
and  ⅓  of  the  Bronze  medals,  the  ratio  of  the  number  of  Silver  medals  remaining  to  the 
number of Bronze medals remaining is 5:2. 
 
Find out the number of Gold, Silver and Bronze medals the school prepared.

3. During  a  food  fair,  the  organizer  planned  to  prepare  a  total  of  700  plates  of  Chicken  rice, 
satay  and  Roti  prata.  Due  to  an  error  in  the  ordering,  the  number  of  plates  of  Chicken  rice 
ended up being twice as much as planned, and the number of plates of Satay ended up being ⅖ 
lesser.  The  ratio  of  the  number  of  plates  of  Chicken  rice  to  the  number  of  plates  of  Satay  to 
the number of plates of Roti Prata ended up being 2:1:2.
