Role of Leadership in the Success of California Nurses' Association

Introduction

Over the last centuries in nearly 100 years ago, leadership has been the topic of literature

discussions in many institutions around the world. With the advancements of technologies and

social sciences, it is more than clear to believe that researches leadership has propelled through

every individual that has had some reputable interests in the subject of leadership such as

educational, business administration, anthropology, or sociology. Highly skilled leaders are

categorized as courageous persons who understand the methods and means of executing their out

obligations. Reports on leadership have since shown that skilled leaders focus on two kinds of

general behaviors i.e., process behavior and task behavior. For the success of the California

nurses association, leadership plays a crucial role and this paper will help reveal these

fundamental roles as performed by traits.

Part 1

This part illustrates the history of CNA leaders who are engaged in the collection for the

patients and their practice. It elaborates on the early years of nursing through tremendous war

and depression and then interviews the CNA council about the success of their organization for

an RN movement. Nurses are seen here to possess very remarkable integrity and perseverance

where they appear to be considered as little more than doctors hence, they work for too long

hours and with very little pay (Coffman, 2018). This practice instills leadership thoughts in the

RN who further sees the window for the change and the opportunity for the nurse's

empowerment on the behalf of any nurses anywhere within the council of California nurses

association. Integrity identifies a leader who has the reputable values of honesty, obedience, and
trustworthiness. People who conform to vigorous principles and take questions on accountability

issues seriously further explain this idea of integrity. Integrity has been since adopted in CNA

where leaders tend to be very trustworthy at their work and thereby effectuating the

organization's success. Leaders who possess integrity normally instill confidence in others since

they can be relied on by conducting what they have promised to do.

Part 2

In this part, we see the leadership of CNA imposing new legislations that will help tackle

the question of the balance between patient and nurses or nurse in charge, and here they argued

that one nurse should take care of at least two patients. They further put it clear that at least with

this arrangement, it will help reduce the queue or load for the nurses had in the previous system

where one nurse was to handle even more than five patients at the same time. The council also

engaged in doing collective responsibilities of actions for their parents and their practice. The

power of the California nurses association has been seen to grow as nurses unite and socialize as

one body to demand safe staffing to protect all patients in the health sector and given time this

attitude has helped increased the number of patients seeking the medical attention at the desired

CNA. This part further confirms how the leadership of nurses tend to struggle for them to

safeguard their fundamental rights and set a crucial instance for nurses across the nation. the

current system of the California nurses association, sociability has been practiced by an

anonymous number of leaders (Coffman, 2018). And here we see it as a leader’s ability to

establish lucrative social relationships. People want leaders that are free to them and whom they

can rely on. The act of being sociable vary from one person to another, for instance, it is fluent

for extroverted leaders to communicate with others.

Part 3
In this part, the leaders are seen adjusting their strategies by registering nurses at the

system, this exercise was very crucial as it highlights clearly to the organization the total number

of nurses that are actively enrolled at the council. CNA started campaigns showing how the

nurses face challenges in the health sector and how their wants can be attended to to help the

organization move on. The nurses practice the act of endurance where they joined up their hands

together in their struggle to let their voices heard by the council and this exercise compelled the

CNA to double its strength in just less than decades to help reassemble the divide within the

nurse’s sector (Coffman, 2018). The progress and success assure nurses divert into patient care

and translates a healthcare movement that propels into the 21st century. The leaders believed that

with an act of hard work and undoubted time management skills, nurses will be forever able to

win their fight toward the rights not only for an individual nurse but for the entire council of

nurses association of California. The leaders always urge nurses to join hands together at their

work to help produce quality output for the purposes of customer satisfaction and this will help

pull in the traffic and hence the success of the organization.

Conclusion

In conclusion, it is coherent to see that leader ship is the ladder that drives the

organization of California nurse’s association into success state and therefore, maters relating to

nurses and their associated rights should be treated critically as they are very important for the

functionality of any health sector. Nurses are also urged to join up hands in fights towards their

fundamental rights as it is the only means of wining any battle anywhere around the world.
