Solid Waste Management

Keeping food wastes from mixing with paper wastes or glass, and so on, makes it easier to reuse, recycle, and get rid of materials, and helps prevent the health problems caused
by mixed waste. Segregating waste is the first step in better waste management, though it only solves the problem if there is a good way to deal with it. separation is part of a system that
includes reuse, composting, regular collection, recycling, and safe disposal.
Aside from benefitting your individual and community safety, proper waste disposal is also a responsibility towards the environment. Waste management reduces the burden of plastics and
mass generation of materials. It also promotes composting and other practices that do not contribute to climate change

Organic Farming

Compared with conventional agriculture, organic farming uses fewer pesticides, reduces soil erosion, decreases nitrate leaching into groundwater and surface water, and recycles
animal wastes back into the farm. Not only is the production of organic food better for human health and the environment than conventional production, emerging science reveals what
organic advocates have been saying for a long time. In addition to lacking the toxic residues of conventional foods, organic food is more nutritious.
But these benefits are counterbalanced by higher food costs for consumers and generally lower yields. Production costs are higher because farmers need more workers. Marketing and
distribution are not efficient because organic food is produced in smaller amounts. Food illnesses may happen more often.
