First, open a browser in your phone and search solar.huawei.com/apac, then click the dashed like icon in the upper right;
Next, click Download FusionSolar APP ;
Click Open;
Lastly, click Install.

2.0 Commissioning

Commissioning can be both done offline and online using FusionSolar App.

2.1 Commissioning - Inverter

1. Click Connect;
2. Scan the QR code of the USB-adapter. If QR scan failed, click the Manual connection.
3. Then click the WLAN, WLAN default password is Changeme. Note: For M3 models, WLAN default password is in the right side of the inverter.
4. Check the Current WLAN, if the SSID is right then click Connect.

5. Once connected, in the Identity Authentication page, the username should be Installer for inverter, admin for smartlogger, then password is 00000a.
6. After that, you will be directed to the Quick Settings page (during first time access), which the Grid code need to be set. For 380/400/440V, must select Philippines
while for 460/480V select Philippines-MV480. For L1 inverters, select General/Global IEC 61727 60 Hz.
7. If you’re using SmartLogger for your project then exit the Quick Settings page. Click the arrow back (<) at the top left of the page. If you use a dongle or for an L1
inverters, you can add the Power Meter and any other devices.

8. Click Confirm.
9. If you want to change the login password, click Yes. If not, then click No.
10. For multiple inverter, you can change the address of each inverters to avoid address conflict. Click Settings.

Note: If all Inverters communication and address are correct, the SmartLogger will automatically detect all of it.

The same procedure in connecting with inverters, the only difference is to connect thru the SmartLogger’s SSID (ex. Logger_SN).
Note: If SmartLogger’s SSID can’t be found, press the RST button (SmartLogger bottom part) for 3 seconds.

1. To add a Power Meter, go to Maintenance > then click Device Mgmt.

2. Click the icon in the upper-right corner of the page;


3. Click Add Devices;
4. In the Device Type choose Meter, Port Number is based on where the Power Meter is connected in the SmartLogger's COM ports, Address is the default ID of the
Power Meter.

3.2 How to configure Power Meter

5. Go to Settings;
6. Then in the Intelligent Power Meter Type, select the corresponding Meter you used.
Note: If the Power Meter you used is not in the lists, you need to manually configure it using the SmartLogger’s WebUi (Enspire), you can follow the procedure below.
7. To check the Power Meter data, go to Maintenance > Device Mgmt. > click Meter > then click Running Info.

Use LAN port configuration for Laptop – SmartLogger connection

After performing all these procedures, open a browser (Internet Explorer or Chrome) the search the IP Address of the SmartLogger’s LAN port.

Note: For SmartLogger3000 model, the User Name is only Admin. Default Password is Changeme.

How to add a Power Meter.

1. Go to Maintenance > Click Device Mgmt. > Connect Device > Add Devices;
2. Device Type should be Power Meter;
3. Port number is based on where the Power Meter is connected in the SmartLogger's COM ports.
4. Address should be the same with the Power Meter’s Device ID.

How to configure the Power Meter after adding.

5. After adding, go to Monitoring > click the Meter > then click Running Param.;
6. Select the Power Meter Type. If the power meter you’re using is not available in the lists then need to select Others and modify the information's based on the power
meter’s Modbus registers.
Note: SmartLogger3000A can now add multiple Power Meters.
For the EMI, follow the same procedure above, the only difference is to select EMI in the Device Type.

How to check if the two devices are in the same Modbus Protocol.

Go to Settings > RS485.

Note: This setting also needs to check cause this will determine the connection between the devices.

This page is to setup the internet/network configuration of the SmartLogger to be able to connect to SmartPVMS (FusionSolar).

Go to Settings > Wired Network.

Note: Change only the Parameters under the WAN port.

This page is to check if the SmartLogger is already connected to the SmartPVMS (FusionSolar).

Go to Settings > Management System.
