Introduction

Are the things Filipinos consider good, important, proper, suitable, worthy, right, acceptable, and
desirable in life?

The complexity of Filipino culture is compounded as this has been exposed to


continuous and various streams of culture from without.

This influences were not passively absorbed in to the Filipino culture but assimilated in a
selective way, and this process of a acculturation varied from region to region .

Rationale
This module will help students understand Filipino culture and values.

Intended Learning Outcomes

a. Critically discussed the Filipino values.


b. Demonstrated Filipino values in their real life.
c. Recognize the values existing in our Filipino society and differentiated the desirable from the
undesirable one.
d. Distinguished the different cardinal virtues.
