Appointment Letter

Dear Suruchi Priya,

We are pleased to appoint you with L. K. Enterprises in our SALON. This letter sets out your
terms and conditions of employment. Further terms and conditions of your employment are also
set out in General Terms and Conditions of Employment. In the event of any conflicts between
this letter and the General Terms and policy, this letter will prevail.

1. Commencement

1.1. Your employment will commence on _09-02-2021

2. Probation / Confirmation

2.1. Initially, you will be on probation for a period of six months from the date of your
joining and the probationary period may be extended or determined earlier at the
discretion of the L. K. Enterprises without assigning any reason or any notice or
salary in lieu thereof. Unless confirmed in writing you will be deemed to continue
on probation even after the expiry of probationary period or the extended period
of probation as the case may be.

3. Job Title & Duties

You shall be employed by the L. K. Enterprises as Hair & Makeup Artist and beautician or in
such other position as the L. K. Enterprises may determine from time to time or any other
officer deputed by the L. K. Enterprises
3.1. A schedule of your broad duties and responsibilities will be given to you in due
course. These duties are illustrative and the L. K. Enterprises reserves the right to
assign to you such other duties and responsibilities as may be considered
advisable in the L. K. Enterprises interests.

3.2. Your duties will include for efficient, satisfactory and economical operation in the
area of responsibility that may be assigned to you from time to time. You shall
maintain high standard of loyalty, efficiency and cordial relationship with other
employees of the L. K. Enterprises.

3.3. You are required to keep yourself and your skills updated by undergoing periodic
training for which you will be nominated. Your continued employment will
depend on successful completion of training assessments. Failure to adhere to the
basic competence scores in training over 3 consecutive training assessments may
lead to forthwith termination of your employment.

3.4. You may be nominated for higher training courses for which additional training
terms and conditions may be applicable which will be communicated to you at the
time of nomination and by which you will be bound in undergoing those training.

4. Place of Work

4.1. Your place of work shall initially be the L. K. Enterprises’ premises at Malviya
Marg, Hazaribag.

4.2. The L. K. Enterprises may, at its sole discretion, second, depute, assign and/or
transfer your service to any other office of L. K. Enterprises in India or to any
Affiliates of the L. K. Enterprises or to any third parties whether existing or set up
subsequently. In such case, you shall be bound by the policy, service conditions of
such other office or Affiliate. You may also be required to make visits and travel
within India, as may be necessary for the proper discharge of your duties.

5. Hours of Work

5.1. You will be governed by the timings and hours of work applicable to the L. K.
Enterprises and the nature of work you are employed to perform for the L. K.
Enterprises at any given time. You should be flexible in your hours of work to
meet demands of the L. K. Enterprises and its customers during peak periods.

6. Travelling

In the course of your employment, you may be required to undertake travelling either in
India or elsewhere in connection with the L. K. Enterprises’ business, according to the
directions and instructions issued by the L. K. Enterprises, from time to time, for which you
will be reimbursed expenses as applicable to your respective grade / designation in
accordance with the rules. Refusal to undertake such travel may result in disciplinary action
against you.

7. Compensation and Benefits:

7.1. A salary of Rs. -----16000----- (-------Sixteen thousand only---) per month (which
comprises of Basic salary, Conveyance, House Rent Allowance, Bonus,
Supplementary Allowance) less statutory taxes / deductions, which will be
deducted at source. Payments will be made by direct bank credit transfer by
monthly installments. (Attached Annexure I)

7.2. The L. K. Enterprises reserves right to modify or bifurcate the salary merging or
bifurcating with any other allowance.

7.3. Compensation may be reviewed and renewed annually at the sole discretion of
the L. K. Enterprises on the basis of your efficiency, performance, intelligence,
punctuality, discipline, loyalty, behavior, prosperity of the L. K. Enterprises etc.
and any associated increases are made strictly in accordance with general business
guidance issued by the L. K. Enterprises from time to time. A salary review does
not automatically mean an increase will be made.

7.4. Your salary is strictly confidential and you are expected to maintain its
confidentiality. Any breach of this confidence will be viewed with the utmost
seriousness and the L. K. Enterprises reserves the right to take disciplinary action
as appropriate.

7.5. Your salary of the month will be paid to you on 1st week of every month via direct
bank transfer only.

7.6. Retirement benefit will be in accordance with the provisions of the laws applicable
to the L. K. Enterprises for the time being.

8. Notice Period

8.1. Your employment may be terminated by you by giving the L. K. Enterprises 30


days’ notice in writing or at the sole discretion and at the option of the L. K.
Enterprises, 30 days payment (Basic Salary) in lieu of such notice. In the event of
your employment being terminated by the L. K. Enterprises, the L. K. Enterprises
shall at its discretion require you to either work throughout days’ notice period or
else the L. K. Enterprises may at its sole discretion, pay 30 days Basic salary in lieu
of such notice.

8.2. If you remain absent from work without, authorization, sufficient and reasonable
cause for more than eight consecutive days, it will be presumed that you are no
longer interested in working with the L. K. Enterprises and have abandoned your
service. In such case the L. K. Enterprises will have the right to draw adverse
inference that you have abandoned the services of the L. K. Enterprises.

8.3. Further, in case of breach of trust, gross negligence of duty, serious misconduct or
for any other reasonable cause, your employment may be terminated
immediately by the L. K. Enterprises without notice in which case no payment in
lieu of notice or other compensation will be payable and you shall be liable for
disciplinary action in accordance with the Policy of the L. K. Enterprises.

8.4. The retirement age of the employees has been fixed by the L. K. Enterprises at
present at 60 years. However, the L. K. Enterprises will have the option to retire
on any date before you complete 60 years of age, if you are physically or mentally
unable to perform your functions or your continuation in service would not be in
the interest of the L. K. Enterprises in its sole discretion.

9. Holiday

9.1. You shall be entitled to Monthly three leaves as per the leave policy of the L. K.
Enterprises. Grant of leave will depend upon the exigencies of work and shall be at
the discretion of the L. K. Enterprises.

9.2. Employees on probation are not entitled to avail any leave during the period of
probation.

10. L. K. Enterprises Property

10.1. During your term of employment, you will not remove from the L. K. Enterprises’
premises any documents, records, files, notebooks, correspondence, computer
printouts, computer programs, computer software, price lists, microfilm, or other similar
documents continuing confidential information, including copies thereof. Upon
termination of your employment with the L. K. Enterprises, all such items including
summaries or copies thereof, then in your possession, items that were given to you
during your employment with the L. K. Enterprises but which belong to the L. K.
Enterprises such as computer/laptops, mobile phones, drawer keys, identity cards etc.
shall be returned to the L. K. Enterprises immediately. You undertake to return such
items, which shall be a requirement in order to receive, at the time of such termination,
or any other time thereafter, any compensation due to you pursuant to any clauses
herein or otherwise.

11. Conflict Of Interest

11.1. During the course of your employment with our L. K. Enterprises you will not
engage yourself directly or indirectly in any professional or personal activity which
might be considered prejudicial and detrimental to the lawful interest of the L. K.
Enterprises i.e. its intellectual property rights, systems, processes, trade secrets,
anything mentioned in its memorandum or articles of association or otherwise
considered to be conflict of interest in this regard and agree to neither directly nor
indirectly compete with the business of the L. K. Enterprises during the term of
the employment.

12. Confidentiality:

12.1. During the course of its business the L. K. Enterprises is required to keep
confidential Information about itself and its customers.

12.2. You shall therefore, regard and preserve as confidential all information, which you
may acquire during the course of your employment, related to the business and
other activities of the L. K. Enterprises and its customers and their clients and
others with whom they do business.

12.1 You shall hold all such information in trust and confidence and shall not disclose it
to anyone at any time, while in employment or afterwards, or use it for your own
benefit or for the benefit of others unless authorized by the L. K. Enterprises.

12.2 You shall not directly or otherwise engage in or assist others to engage in any
activity or conduct that contravenes the provisions of this clause.

12.3 You shall deliver to the L. K. Enterprises, upon cessation or termination of


employment or at any other time on request of the L. K. Enterprises all articles,
memorandum, records, reports, data, software, computer tapes and other
documents relating the said business of the L. K. Enterprises or belonging the L. K.
Enterprises or its customers and affiliates which you possess or have under your
control.
12.4 You are aware and agree that, notwithstanding the cessation or termination of
your employment, the enforceable terms and conditions, confirmations and
undertakings under this clause shall always continue in full force and effect.

13. Code of Conduct

13.1 You are not authorized to represent the L. K. Enterprises at any public forums,
press meetings or conferences or publish articles in magazines or newspapers
unless otherwise authorized by the L. K. Enterprises or such other person as the L.
K. Enterprises may authorize from time to time. Any views expressed in your
personal capacity will be treated as your own and not that of the L. K. Enterprises.
The L. K. Enterprises will not be responsible or liable for any claims that may arise
out of such views.

13.2 You will be bound by the rules and regulations as declared by the L. K. Enterprises
hereafter, from time to time, in relation to conduct, discipline, medical fitness,
leave, holidays and all matters relating to terms and conditions of service,
network security and usage.

13.3 You will abide by all statutory and regulatory laws at all times and violation of any
of these may result in your immediate termination of employment without notice
of compensation.

13.4 You shall be bound by and shall adhere to all the elements of L. K. Enterprises
Code of Conduct which has been provided to you.

13.5 Any violation to the Code of conduct will lead to disciplinary actions as per the L.
K. Enterprises Policy.

14. Whilst in the employment of the L. K. Enterprises

14.1. It is an express condition that the L. K. Enterprises’ personnel are whole time
employees and accordingly, you shall devote your full time and attention to the L.
K. Enterprises’ business and affairs.

14.2. You shall not, without express prior written permission of the L. K. Enterprises,
directly or indirectly, undertake any other business, work, or public office, or
render advisory or other services on payment or otherwise in connection with any
other business enterprise. In the event of breach of this condition on your part,
you will be subject to immediate termination without notice or compensation.
14.3. You will be bound by the rules & regulations which are in force during your
tenure. You shall diligently and satisfactorily carry out the lawful
orders/instruction/ directions of the superiors in connection with the work
assigned to you to the best of your skill and ability. Your performance will be
subject to annual appraisal by your supervisors.

14.4. You will apply and maintain the highest standards of personal conduct and
integrity and comply with all policies and procedures of the L. K. Enterprises.

14.5. You shall not commit theft of any customer belongings and assets and will be
personally responsible for any theft committed by you.

15. General

15.1. You will be required to adhere to the disciplinary requirements of the L. K.


Enterprises.

15.2. Your continuance in the services of the L. K. Enterprises will be subject to your
physical, medical and mental fitness as may be required for the position you may
hold. Consequently, you will be required to go through such medical tests and
examinations from time to time as may be deemed necessary by the L. K.
Enterprises.

15.3. Your address as indicated in your application shall be deemed to be correct for
sending any communication to you and every communication addressed to you at
the given address shall be deemed to have served upon you. You shall also not
refuse to accept any communication as offered to you for personal delivery.

15.4. In case there is any change in your residential address, you will intimate the same
in writing to L. K. Enterprises within 15 days of such change and get the changes
recorded.

15.5. You shall not pledge the L. K. Enterprises’ credit and/or make representation
unless you are specifically and duly authorized in that behalf.

15.6. While you are in the employment of the L. K. Enterprises, you would be governed
by the Intellectual Property clause in General Terms and Conditions of
Employment document and shall assign the IPR created / developed during the
course of the employment to the employer.

15.7. The foregoing constitutes the agreement as regards the terms and conditions of
your service with the L. K. Enterprises and they shall be subject to such
modifications and amendments as may be introduced from time to time as per the
L. K. Enterprises’ Rules & Regulation.

In all matters not mentioned herein you will be governed by the rules and regulations of the
L. K. Enterprises in effect from time to time.

Please sign the duplicate copy of this letter and return it in token of having understood and
accepted the same.
