We have been getting Tapp-A-Delivery orders and people have been asking about our
brand menu. We also see that our page views have increased with 10% and 33% action
on the page from the last weeks.

• As seen in the comments our challenge this week was our service staff and
product. Training is required to all our staff and we encourage every staff you
understand the production of the product and how to serve the product.
• The other half also spoke to a need to continue to ingrain standards in production
on our back of house staff our quality teams have been alerted to these issues.

New Product
We managed to launch new product on the market at our newly opened branch. Our
customers received our new products the crunchy burger and the chicken hot wing.
Never the less we realise additional offer of extra sauce is the working formula for
those who want it more hot sauce.

• With this analysis, it shows that we managed to sell 108 8590 individual
products of Top range products.
• Our promotions dropped from 4.4% to 1.84%, what a shocking drop. What
constitutes the drop was very minor changes which were done by-product
costing, which they removed the drink to maintain GP and it affected sales of
the couples combos and farmers combos. Customers love the deal and they
always requesting the promo.
• We can see that our confectionary sold numbers could have been much
better in numbers per unit sell. A product like a chocolate brownie in Harare-
East has been selling very well and suddenly stopped because of the
ingredient's unavailability.
• Pizza’s hasn’t been sold in a large capacity we are wondering why since we
always do advertising. But from observed cases, its always has been
ingredients unavailability. So we end up not having other pizza ranges, this
makes the line of the product fail to raise to the public.
• A solution to pizza is to have the most famous lines available all the time
then we can start to do more marketing the product.
Tapper
• They have come up with so many excuse and we have provided them with
all the required
Machinery
• The challenge of machinery breakdowns especially chip or chicken
fryers(east gate branch, Samora) is on the rise which is a disappointment and
slows down service in the affected shops. Spare machines need to be
availed for use while the broken-down machinery is under repair.
• Our Kitchen printers some of them are too old and they need to be
changed. IT department they have requested this a while ago and we
wonder why they are not receiving the funds needed.
Ambiance
• Most of the menu screens are now functional and have the updated
promotional and non-promotional menu screens.
• Our bikes have managed to have a new design on them.
• Well done to our Mutare 3 branch which was well built and looks amazing it
just needs more traffic to drive more sales. Promotions will do well on this
branch.
Product Quality
• Pies have taken over the city and well done to our bakery chefs. It shows
ability within them and we recommend that they should continue getting the
support and ingredients they need.
• We also have new product at our bakery range, its a fruit cake going for
2usd.
• We have seen improvement on our 1/4 chicken and chips.
• We mentioned our Shawarma in our last reports and till now we haven’t
seen action being taken regarding the taste we proposed. We believe
that the shawarma from the grill stick has wonderful taste and nothing
else.
Golden morning sir. We had a fruitful meeting we discussed more on how we are
going to be funded and how our marketing should work together and build one
strong brand.
- Marketing to work very closely with operations on promotions and product lines
that need assistance on marketing.
- Regarding the new promotion crunchy burger and spicy wings, the question was
why is it only in Mutare,? and we pointed out M3 has enough fryers for the cooking
process. MD replied saying the branches should be able to buy extra machines to
accommodate this new line of products.
- Marketing will have 1% every month which will be kept for funding and this
funding will be readily available all the time. Devant and Chido will work very close
to discuss which funding should go first. And we will work with high priority
payment formats. Marketing to send budget for payment 💰 each new month.
- MD pointed out that expansion on social media platforms is vital for the
maximisation of customers. This means we should run Twitter, Instagram, Youtube,
Facebook and Pintrest
- Website issue ⚠ was discussed. And sir Daniel was commissioned to give
Devant FTP detail by Monday and we should have a website live by Next week
Friday.
- Within the shops managers not put their number under their pictures but
HOTLiNE number. Which is being used with CHIDO.
- Stacy to centralise tapp-delivery to maximise sales 💰 for all regions.
- Lavender to assist Stacy to add a button 🔵 in the system to track all their orders
they do at tapp-delivery.
- Stacy work station to be placed next door 🚪 to marketing office on the waiting
area next to HR office. They should also get a computer with software connected
to gaap for their tracking purposes.
- Bikes 🚴 for delivery to be increased in harare after the better performance and
better income from tapp-delivery. This issue was raised after Stacy raised a point of
service being slow.
- Promotions to stay longer or having more shelf life than to die instantly.

These are the main points that were addressed I took this time to make sure that
you are in the loop 🔁 we want the brand to go far.
Visual arts -ability to develop motion graphics and videos for the brand and
social media presents.
This required a good laptop which received from the Chairman. With this aspect
we find that I could have done more tangible visuals if funds permitted. Per month
we would require 400 USD for a good video to be done. But ever since that
funding was never availed for that kind of video. The greatest level I reached was
to a point that we developed a voice over and paid 20usd from my pocket but to
continue with the video it became too much for me to pay, but I would have paid
to prove a point of how beneficial this videos advert approach. Without giving up
on the Mutare 3 opening I made sure we had a lot of footage which I can join and
make a video advert. Well it was done and the advert will be live on the 25th of
June which is this date of this writing. This strains lead us to have a meeting with
the chairman where we explained that it will be rather better to funded to have our
own MEDIA HOUSE so that we start earning our own marketing funds. The idea
still stands and we are more than willing to make sure that idea works. We will only
need 2500 USD for it to function very well.
Expected to be done under Visual arts - On a launch of every new promotion we
should have a video, audio, flyers, proper social boosting not 20usd per week we
are talking about 80 to 100usd worth of boosting.
For years and years food companies they had been doing food pictures in-house
almost every time. Constantly taking pictures of each product, this has been the
best way of marketing a products of big brands. Why not do the same here? We
are also big and we can afford to buy this equipment. This has been my wish that
when one day comes that I will be asked I will be able to say I managed to create a
media house for the brand and it helped the brand visuals to top class.
Events - I have managed to go to many events to promote the brand. But the
most disappointing event which I went was at Borrowdale Brooke which hurt me so
much from the bottom of my heart. To get 10usd for a taxi to go to the event it
was difficult and then I used my own 10usd which until today I haven’t received
from the company, the point is not that 10usd is more important but how others
value the marketing department its not up to what I expect. Mr Chemwai and Mr
Gwagwadze do help a lot but at times the funding get to be very difficult to get.
Our outdoor presentation is very poor since we don’t have proper outdoor kit
which cost 1500usd and less. I recently made an opportunity to market our brand
on NOLLY WOOD cinemas the best I managed to do was to make sure that I keep
the opportunity within us until our outdoor branding is ready and perfect. I gave
them internet bundles worth 30usd which the company failed to pay.
Website
I created and managed to finish the website within a week. The problem I have
faced for over 4months is to get domain details to upload the website (FTP details
is what is required, last I heard it was astro who had them). I have decided that I
should get another subdomain which can linked to the main domain. That way we
can have the website live. After purchase it only need 5working days to test on
every device and compatibility and adaption to devices screens. Then by doing so
we will have a website. I can’t be like Astro.
Tapper
This has been my whole year project and it has now got to a point where I
decided that what ever task we gave them its clear that they can’t manage to
develop and finish.
- Within this project I have come to realise many aspects and probability to handle
the proposed requirement to make the software to work. It has been a nightmare
to them. If getting to town is only 500 meters from any direction and if you know
the road to go to town you don’t take 20years. But this team has taken longer
time to develop a finished product.
- We have asked them tough questions and we needed response and sadly they
failed to communicate back. We then created a platform for us to meet every
Thursday it then turned out they couldn’t meet after we had given them all they
said it was required.
- We have done countless meetings to make this tapper machines to work and the
delivery app.
- I also have decided to overcome this issue by starting creating WhatsApp Bot
which makes it easy to order via whatsapp.
Tapp-Delivery
This has been also my project and to make sure that we make profits and to
market it.
- The problem I faced was to get funding to do my weekly text sms adverts,
WhatsApp adverts and social media boosting only for Tapp-Delivery.
- I could have gain more ground on marketing if we get money we request. If we
get 100usd per month we will able to send out adverts.
- We also need to have video advert which cost only 200usd.
- We also need our drivers to have proper uniforms while driving bikes. This will
hunt us if anything bad happens on accident. If we are found that we didn’t
provide enough uniform for the this drivers it will bring bad image of the brand.
- Drivers are driving with wrong helmets, last time I managed to buy one from my
pocket and we ended up getting the money back.
- Our drivers salary is not matching market salaries and if you realise this are the
best driver and experienced driver we currently have.
- Tania she has been very good at her job and she want to be happy on her salary.
I have pushed before but I was never successful. Last stage was going to the
GM, which I will do so this time. Having a person like her at her job and who is
always there, it’s not very easy. Please I can’t afford to loose her on her position.
Solution
- We would like to get our 2% share, which we don’t even get at all the time.
- To get mobile bundles of 2800bond.
- To get customer calling allowance of at least 1000bond per month, this I have
been spending my own money.
- To fund requests I always send, at times I struggle to stay in the office when
suppliers start to look for us.
- To support our ideas at times really help us and it makes our job easy. GM and
Mr Silent has been a great help, but if we start use GM more all the time then it
start to look like we are back stabbing other position above us.
- I have great ideas we have been creating with the bakery Operations but the sad
part is funding doesn’t get to be availed to him, so our option will be to go to
GM since he is our rescue all the time.
- Tapper should work, and the option I have is to change the service provider since
they have failed dismally.
