Respected sir,

existing Brahmana Sangham building at Dharmapuri Village – Request for

*****
The Brahmana Sangham at Dharmapuri was formed in the year 1982 with aims
and objectives to bring all people together and to spread happiness among the
humanity.

Dharmapuri is a very ancient town situated on the bank of sacred river Godavari
in Karimnagar district of Andhra Pradesh. Here Lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy is
worshipped throughout Andhra Pradesh. A number of pilgrims living in the neighbouring
districts of Maharashtra regularly visit this pilgrimage to give offerings to Lord Laxmi
Narasimha. This town is famous for Great Poets, Ghanapatis, Music Scholars, Astrologers
and Pouranikas like the great Gundi Rajanna Sastry etc.

The Brahmana Sangham after studying/ observing the difficulties for their stay at
Dharmapuri during the “Godavari Pushkaras”, which comes for every twelve years
period. In the last Pushakara in the year 2003 there was dearth of accommodation for
pilgrims and they used to stay on the roads, lanes and bi-lanes of the village. The Police,
Govt. Officials, Politicians and social workers who are engaged for this purpose also
faced a number of problems during this period.

The above crisis was discussed with the local MLA/ Hon’ble Minister Sri Juvvadi
Ratnakar Rao Garu during the year 2005. He advised the Brahmana Sangham to procure
land for the construction of a Community Hall/ Permanent Building and had promised to
render all the possible help from his side.

1
Accordingly this Sangham has procured 3000 Sq. Yards land by collecting funds
from its members. After registration of this site Sri Juvvadi Ratnakara Rao Garu, Hon’ble
Minister has laid the foundation stone for community hall. This sangham also collected
funds from our members and eminent personalities like Sri Gattu Narayana Guruji,
Manthani, Vojjala Seetharam Sastry Garu, Dharmapuri and other well-wishers and
started the construction of Main hall, two rooms, store room and temporary kitchen. Sri
Juvvadi Ratnakara Rao Garu, Ex. Hon’ble Minister has also arranged an amount of Rs.
3.00 Lakhs for this work. With much persuasion the present state of the Hall is half
finished and this is being used for Yoga Classes, Veda Parayanam, Marriages,
Upanayanas, Social Activities and meetings of various political parties. Further we are
also sparing our hall & rooms for Annadhaana programme started by temple authorities.

We are very happy that you have conducted first time meeting before filing your
nomination for M.P. elections at Brahmana Sangham, Dharmapuri. By the grace of Lord
Sri Laxmi Narasimha Swamy and blessings of eminent personalities of Dharmapuri, you
won the election and elected as Member of Parliament with large majority. This also
boosted our morals that you as a first person who canvassed for filing the nomination
and won the election.

Lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy gave your supporting hand to needy people
like us to complete the building work. The following balance works are yet to be
completed at Brahmana Sangham.
 Construction of Dining Hall
 Construction of 3 – 4 Suits for accommodation
 Construction of Library Hall.
For the above works an approximate amount of Rs. 20.00 Lakhs is needed.

Hence we humbly request you to kindly sanction an amount of Rs. 20.00 Lakhs
from your M.P. funds.

With High Regards…..

Yours Sincerely,

Sanganabhatla Dinesh,
General Secretary,
Brahmana Seva Sangham,
Dharmapuri, Karimnagar Dist.
