Introduction
In this section you have to write your introduction, use the main ideas you wrote in
the previous section. You will briefly describe what you are going to talk about in this
text.

We can think that making music outside the industry provides more freedom, and
allows new artistic proposals to be established outside the predominant ones. But
taking this to the extreme can make us fall into something that in my opinion is a
mistake: valuing the fact that a song is not commercial, to say that it has more artistic
quality simply because it was born without the pretense of being a success can do that
our ability to appreciate music is diminished, commercial music we can refer, in a
general way, to those songs that are easily "salable" or that, directly, are created with
the objective of achieving a sales success.

Body Paragraph #1
In this section, You will write 1 paragraph developing the main idea #1 that you wrote
in the previous section. Remember that now you have to use: Reasons and examples
to explain your Topic sentence or main idea.
When we refer to commercial music we can refer, in a general way, to those songs that
are easily "salable" or that, directly, are created with the aim of achieving a sales
success. This would encompass most of the manifestations known as pop music.
However, any piece of music of any style could be called "commercial". But how can we
be sure that a song is commercial or not? Composers who worked on commission
especially during the second half of the 20th century knew how to write songs that they
liked, and for years they were a huge source of successes that were performed by
singers with a suitable image so that the public could be interested in them. That is why
an artist must think commercially when launching a new song to know if it will be a good
song to attract the public and thus generate income, one of its biggest conflicts is
fashion and the industry since it must be coupled to what the public ask now and for an
artist it is not easy

Body Paragraph #2
In this section, You will write 1 paragraph developing the main idea #2 that you wrote
in the previous section. Remember that now you have to use: Reasons and examples
to explain your Topic sentence or main idea.

Conclusion
Now you are going to finish your text, by summarizing what you mention in the body.
Then you are going to make a conclusion about the topic, it might be positive or
negative accordingly.

Living from music is more complicated, due to the few sales, and the oversaturation of
the market, the need to attract the attention of the public in many cases has been above
the need to create beauty, and perhaps the public has been learning, unconsciously, to
consume music of very low quality and with little content. In this way, in a music scene
increasingly perverted by the need to make music perform economically, the new
generations, who were born in the nineties, in many cases only know the commercial
side of music. They understand it only as a product, they buy it cut into 3 or 4 minute
pieces from their mobile phone terminal, without worrying about who wrote it, or what
motivated them to do so.
