What do you see in this film?


The documentary film by Mark Achbar and
Jennifer Abbots. The film starts with the
premise that corporation have been given
the r8ights of a legal persons, so must one
evaluate what kind of person is the
corporation. Under constitutional law,
corporation are seen as individuals. The
evidence , according to such political
activist as Noam Chomsky and Filmmaker
Michael Moore and company heads like
carpet magnate Ray Abderson, points to a
bad one, as the films aims to expose IBM’s
and these large businesses exploitation of
human rights.

I think the film focuses on a select number
of areas in which corporations have cause
damage, including child labour, low
wages, manipulative advertising,
unhealthy foods and environmental
damage.
