The internet cafe provides an environment of an open source for the public, where a computer can be hired
for a duration expanding from half an hour to an hour which allows the consumer to access the internet or
play a game.

There is an internet café who needs assistance for developing a server based net café system that should be
able to maintain more than 20 customer PC’s and there should be an admin PC from where each customer
PC would be accessible.

Switches and routers are necessary for connecting PC’s with each other. We have used 20 computers that
are connected to a single admin PC that is controlled by the owner.

Everyday life is not being able to run without the use of technology, students need the access of internet
and computers in every phase of their education, let it be for communicating or sharing ideas. Internet and
computer has become the basic necessity for an individual living within a community.

Not every individual is able to afford high tech computers these days, this research would be beneficial for
people who are unable to access modern day technology. Internet café would be a peaceful environment
for individuals to stay focused and firm related to their tasks, quires and chores.

Specifically would be beneficial for the lower and middle classes of the society, students belonging to such
classes who are unable to afford internet and high tech computers. Such students take admissions in
different diploma centers and are unable to practice their software as home work so, this internet café
would also provide thousands of entrepreneur, free lancers and diploma students to achieve expertise in
their skills.

Current flow and rapid growth of technology has brought a vast change over the methodology of how
humans think, work and progress within their daily life. Advancement within technology have made it
easier to work, human based effort has been replaced with mechanical and technological effort. With
this rapid growth not only humans have been effected but the process of communication has also
gained advancement, people have found new ways of communicating more easily and cheaply. Fast
growing sector of IT has helped and made it very easier to communicate through the electronic
medium. You have access to upload any information online, share it with someone through emails.
Videos and graphic based content can also be shared using the new modes of electronic
communication. This advancement also became a necessity for cyber café. These type of cafes can

 be set up in district headquarters and Block headquarters. This facility can be utilized by educated
people,govt offices, institutions etc.

I was extremely found of gaming in my childhood, it was a time where I used to enjoy my leisure time
playing high quality graphics made games onto different gaming zones. Recently the trend for gaming zones
and internet café have increased rapidly in Pakistan, every nook and corner has an internet cafe that is
accessible to people especially youth. I was surprised to see that how an admin PC is able to control other
PC’s within the cafe. After usage of an hour the admin controls the pc of the consumer and switches it off
automatically. This was my motivation for the semester project.

We’ll be using software cisco packet for the achievement of our end results, cisco packet is a software that
basically utilizes networking tools which would be helping us out in connecting several computers with a
single admin based computer. This software is pictorial based that is going to help us in explaining how the
computers are attached with cables, switches, and routers connected with servers. This software will
provide us a look that how servers, routers, computers are interlinked with a single source that are
switches, Basically an overflow related to whole of the internet cafe. Moreover this experiment will also be
going to helps us in having a better overview related to the server IP’s of admin computer.

ABSTRACT

Background
We determined a disease specifically related with lack of accessibility to basic internet and
computers among people of lower and middle classes. Because of this thousands of people
suffer through difficulties within their everyday or practical life. Being a student within
Pakistan we realized that there are hundreds of issues that become hurdles for an
individual to achieve good in their life, one of them is electricity. Our internet café would
have access to high tech generators as well, that will be beneficial for people and would
avoid the issue of electricity too.
