Of counsel

Rear Admiral (Ret) Dr. Djayeng Tirto Soedarsono S.H S.SPi, MH

Graduated from the Indonesian Military Academy in 1983,

Mr Djayeng held important position in the Military and
Intelligence service by serving as the Chief of the Regional
Intelligence Agency (Kepala BIN Daerah) in North Sumatra
and North Sulawesi as well as Deputy Commander of the
Indonesian Navy (Wakil Komandan Pangkalan TNI-AL) in
Jakarta, Defense Attache in Nigeria and a Director of the
Indonesian Strategic Intelligence Agency (Badan Inteljen
Strategis TNI) where his notable credentials was the signing
of a frame work teriteral coporative arrangement between
three countries in relation to the Abu Sayyaf case in 2016. .
Mr Djayeng is experienced in International Law. His last
position was a Two-Star General of the Indonesia National
Defense Council (Dewan Ketahanan Nasional).

Foreign Counsel
Yusaku Mimura

Yusaku Mimura obtained his Bachelors of Law Degree from Kansai

University, Osaka Japan, he then completed his Masters at Keio Law
School and graduated in 2011. In 2015 he attended a one-year
exchange program at Universitas Indonesia. Yusaku is a former
diplomat at the Japanese embassy in Indonesia (2016-2018), currently
he is a practicing lawyer with qualification as a member of the Tokyo
Bar Association.

dr. Elman B Manurung S.H, M.H

Doctor Elman was appointed as the legal representative of an

international hospital that defending fellow doctors from a
malpractice lawsuit, his medical education (Faculty of Medicine
Universitas Indonesia) has attracted his interest in taking legal
education where he now completed his Masters in Law. Doctor
Elman focuses on Medical Law and is interested in producing
publications on medical law and ethics.

Brain Sahala Sihotang B.Eng, S.H., M.H

He earned his bachelor degree in Computer Science from

Kanagawa University, Japan in 1997. And completed his Master of
Law at University of Indonesia in 2016.
Brain’s ability to speak Japanese has become very beneficial for our
clients in Japan. Brain has focused a lot on real estate law for 15
years.

Muhammad Arbani S.H,

Graduated from University of Indonesia in 2018, Arbani was

chosen to work with a Foreign Embassy in Jakarta for more than 1
year as a Consultant. Arbani’s specializes in Financial Technology
Law.
Dr. Azis Muhammad S.H, M.H

Dr A. Azis Muhammad has been advocating the rights of legal

practitioners such as notary and lawyers, Mr Azis was appointed as
a Dean of the faculty of law at a Private University in Jakarta. Dr
Abdul Azis Muhammad has more than 20 Years of Experience as a
Practitioner / lawyer in the fields of Criminal Law.

Associates

Paul Simanjuntak S.H., M.H., LLM

Paul was born in Jakarta on 1989 and earned his law degree at the
Faculty of Law Universitas Gadjah Mada and graduated in 2012
where he majored in Tax Law. He then went on to pursue a
professional course on Taxation by taking the Brevet A and B. Paul
continued his education with pursue a Masters at Ledien University
majoring in International Tax Law and graduated in 2016. In 2016
after completing his Masters of Law Degree in Leiden, Paul
decided to take Masters of Law Majoring in International Trade
Law from Universitas Indonesia an Graduated in 2018. Paul
specializes in Tax and Commercial Law.

Rita Endang Widuri BBus.

Rita earned her Bachelor of Business degree majoring in accounting

from the University of Technology Sydney in 1995. Rita is
experienced at Law and Franchise Operations. Before joining
Veritas, she worked with Mc Donald Indonesia (Ramako Gerbang
Mas) for more than 15 years.
Harkin Manta S.H., M.H.

Harkin obtained his Bachelors of Law degree from Parahyangan

University Bandung in 2010, he then continued his Post Graduate
studies at University of Indonesia with a focus on International
Trade Law. Harkin is specialist in Corporate and investment
practices, Contract Preparation, Property Law, and Investment
Law.

Teuku Rizal Djohan S.H., M.H.

Rizal earned his Diploma in the State Accounting College (Sekolah

Tinggi Akutansi Negara) and Bachelor of Economics at University
of Indonesia, he continued his Postgraduate studies at the Faculty of
Law University of Indonesia in 2016. Rizal is a former state official
at the Ministry of Finance, where he was a customs officer for 5
years. Rizal specializes in Customs Law, Customs Permits, Export
and Import Permits, Border Licenses and International Trade Law.

James Pakpahan S.E., S.H., M.H.

James earned his Masters of Law Degree from University of

Indonesia, after graduating he was employed as an In-house lawyer
at various multinational companies. James focuses on Construction
Law, Labor Law, and Insurance Law.
Iqbal Ferdiansyah S.H., MKn.

Iqbal graduated from faculty of Law Padjajaran University

Bandung in 2013. He then continued his Postgraduate study in
Faculty of Law University of Indonesia and graduated in 2017.
Iqbal specializes in Corporate Law, Legal Drafting and Agrarian
Law.
