CUMULATIVE EXAM IN PURPOSIVE COMMUNICATION

Dear Mr. President,

Good day! I hope you are well and taking care of yourself and those around you.
Given the responsibilities that you have as the leader of our country and knowing
that this past few months you’ve became so busy in facing the problem that we
continuously have right now which is the COVID-19. I am well aware that you may
not have time to read letters from a person of like me. But, I am writing to you today
as an advocate of HIV Awareness and to raise to you some problems that needs a
resolution regarding people with HIV and those people who are not infected.
Mr. President, despite of the crisis that we have right now, we should not
neglect other health problems that might also occur during this pandemic. When you
enacted the Enhance Community Quarantine, you also triggered out some
correlating health issues that can only happen at home. The health problem that I
am saying in this letter is the HIV. HIV infection is in most cases the result of human
behavior. In this case, people with HIV has the high risk of transferring the infection
and there’s a possibility that it will increase the rate of infection to the people. The
problem here now is that if that scenario happen, there are insufficient facilities
where in the people who got infected will be admitted because all the hospitals are
full load and focused on those COVID-19 patients and some are used for as a
quarantine facilities and testing center. In connection with that, transportation is
also a big issue in this problem, people are stranded in their communities unable to
reach health facilities on time for the emergency care so as a result of that there is a
possibility that they will not be able to get the health care that they need and there
is a high chance that the virus can be worsen. Also, the health and safety of the
family especially the partner are in big risk if this problem will not be well assess. So,
to the problems that I have raised, Mr. President I would like to request to you the
following:
Assign a designated HIV facilities for the HIV patients.
Assign Emergency transportation vehicles for HIV patients.
Implement a house to house visit to assess different families and to determine
other health problems not only HIV.
Promote HIV Awareness through digital sources like television, radio, social

medias and other digital resources. This will help people to be inform about HIV and
how this will be prevented.

HIV infection can be prevented if the government will implement rules, manage
and plan the problem well. People can also attribute to prevent this, by means of
having well knowledge and especially discipline.
Thank you Mr. President for giving time to read this letter, I hope that you will
consider my request in addressing the issues about HIV.
