Terms & Conditions

Tier 1 & 2
Terms & Conditions for Tier 1 & 2 Trips:

1. Paid submission and In forced New Business from 1 January - 31 December 2021 (except advance payment) shall be counted
for Agency Incentive Trips for year 2021.

2. Only in-forced submission and collected contributions within the said campaign period is counted for the reward.

3. Current Year Collection Efficiency (CE) and Lapse Ratio (LR) will be calculated on the business block from 1 Jan 2021 – 31
December 2021

4. To qualify for AIT 2021 trips, Current Year Collection Efficiency (CE) of 95% and Lapse Ratio (LR) of 20% from number of
cases, are required as at 31st December 2021 and must maintain until 31 March 2022 and failing to do so, it is subjected to
claw back process.

5. All qualifiers must fulfill 30 hours CPD requirements as at 31 December 2021.

6. NB FYCC is defined as New Business First Year Collected Contribution AND AFYC is defined as Annual First Year Contribution.

7. Strictly no Single Top-up or Regular Top Up contribution will be included in AIT calculation.

8. At the point of RSVP, qualifier has to choose 1 destination.

Notes:

a) Qualifier must participate in the incentive trip to be entitled for the trip packages
or pocket money.

b) Rookie eligibility is defined as newly contracted agents for a period of 18 months


and below at point of achieving the Company’s Target within 2021 (e.g. Newly
contracted agents from 1st July 2020 are eligible for Rookie Category).

c) Newly contracted agents can be awarded the Rookie Category only once within 18
months from their contracted period.

d) Qualifiers under Existing Personal Producer and Rookie Category can be awarded
with maximum number (3) of trip packages by multiplying the production and other
criteria set as the requirements.

e) All General Terms & Conditions for AIT qualifiers apply.

Notes:

a) Group Agency Director and Agency Director Category production shall exclude
Leader’s Personal Production and can only be able to get maximum of 1 ticket
according to their rank/position.

Example : Group Agency Director can only win a ticket at GAD category and
cannot win a ticket at AD category.

a) Active Rising Stars under Leaders Category definition:

• Produced a minimum of RM8,000 NB FYCC within 2021.

• Any reinstated / reappointed agent (with new agent’s code or old agent’s code
with less than 12 months from the date of last termination) or direct
appointment (DAAD) will not be counted as Rising Star or Active Rising Star.

Terms & Conditions

Rising Star
Terms & Conditions for Rising Star Incentive Trip:

1. This incentive trip is solely for qualified Rising Star and Leaders (Direct Unit - who have at least minimum of 3 qualified Rising Stars in AIT
2021) qualifying for Special Leaders Category.

2. Rising Star is defined as those agents who are registered from January 2021 – December 2021.

3. All qualifiers compulsory to attend the “Star Program’ training within 90 days from contracted date to participate in the trip.

4. Only one (1) time option to opt for next the trip is allowable. Otherwise the reward shall be forfeited.

5. Only in forced submissions and collected contributions within the said campaign period is counted for the reward.

6. Strictly no Single Top-up or Regular Top Up contribution will be included in AIT calculation.

7. Production of Rising Star category will also be counted for Tier 1 & Tier 2 Incentive Trips qualification and every Rising Star is
eligible for 2 categories of incentive trips in one campaign year, i.e. Tier 1 & Tier 2 destinations.

General Terms & Conditions for
AIT Qualifiers
FY2021
GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR AIT QUALIFIERS

1. Qualifiers must hold valid contract with the Company and retained at the rank
qualifiers were awarded in, at the time of reward presentation and on the date of
departure of Agency Incentive Trips (AIT). Reward will be reviewed should there be
any down grade of ranks.

2. Rewards are non-exchangeable and non-redeemable for cash in part or in full.


However, qualifiers who are unable to participate in the trip on medical grounds
must submit a medical report from a certified medical practitioner or health
institution may:

• Opt to transfer all trip packages to immediate family members (not applicable
on Rising Star category) or

• Opt 1st trip package for 75% cash-in-lieu and subsequent trip packages on the
same tier transferred to immediate family members (refer to point 4); or

• Opt 1st trip package for 75% cash-in-lieu and subsequent trip packages on the
same tier to be exchanged for fixed cash-in-lieu which are RM3,500 per trip
package for Super Duper Elite, Super Elite & Elite Incentive Trip (Tier 1) and
RM2,000 per trip package for Premier Incentive Trip (Tier 2).

3. Should qualifier prefer to utilize the 1st trip package he/she may opt to transfer
subsequent trip packages to immediate family members or exchange for fixed cash-
in-lieu of RM3,500 per trip package for Super Duper Elite, Super Elite & Elite
Incentive Trip (Tier 1) and RM2,000 per trip package for Premier Incentive Trip (Tier
2).

4. Immediate family members refers to:

• For qualifiers who are married, he or she is allowed to transfer the trip
packages to parents, spouse or children and sibling above 18 years old only.

• For qualifiers who are single, he or she is allowed to transfer the trip packages
to parents and siblings above 18 years old only.

• Any paying guest must be above 18 years old only

5. Transfer of trip packages to Maybank Group, Etiqa staff and family members are not
allowed.

6. Claw back on cost of trip shall be enforced for AIT 2021 participants in the event the
CE or LR of any qualifier is below 95% and 20% respectively as at 31 March 2022
despite having participated in the trip or any benefits received in relation to AIT
2021. In addition, all award titles or recognitions shall be revoked if the minimum
criteria set are not met after the final count.

7. The Company reserves the right to disqualify the qualifier should there be found any
ROP cases, under investigation and any breach of the regulations under the
Company and Bank Negara Malaysia guidelines. All AIT packages of the qualifiers and
/ or any paying guest(s) shall be forfeited and retracted accordingly.

8. The Company reserves the right to disallow or disqualify the participation of any
agent for the event and / or trip if such agent has any amount whatsoever due or
outstanding to the Company or to any of the Company’s vendors, contractors or
suppliers incurred in relation to any of the Company’s event and / or trips.

9. The trip packages for all AIT are ex-KLIA or major gateways (airports) in Kuala
Lumpur / Selangor. Thus, no reimbursement for the following:

• Ground arrangement to and from the qualifiers’ and accompanying or paying


guests’ place of origin to KLIA or major gateways (airports).

• Accommodation and meals costs incurred prior to departure or arrival or if


there are any flight delays.

10. The Company is not responsible for any delay in ground arrangements during the
transfer from qualifiers’, accompanying and paying guests’ place or origin to KLIA or
major gateways (airports) and vice versa.

11. The Company is not responsible for qualifiers, accompanying and paying guests’ who
are denied to board the flight, entry to a country due to circumstances or if visa
application to a country of destination is rejected or denied entry. No
reimbursements of the trip packages will be given and all related cost will be borne
by the individual.

12. Travelling qualifiers, accompanying and paying guests’ who are pregnant must advise
the Travel Agent immediately. Medical report from a certified medical practitioner
or health institution and any other relevant documents must be submitted to Travel
Agent.

13. In the event qualifier, accompanying and paying guests’ wishes to make any last
minute cancellation on his or her trip, the Company will not reimburse any amount
of money and any costs related to the cancellation will be borne by the individual.

14. Trip packages payment for paying guests’ should be made directly to the appointed
Travel Agent after the RSVP Forms have been submitted by the qualifiers. If
payments are not received, the Travel Agent reserves the right to cancel the paying
guests’ trip.

15. When the AIT results are announced and opened for RSVP and Appeals, qualifiers
must adhere to RSVP and Appeals deadline. Qualifiers must ensure that own,
accompanying and paying guests’ submit all relevant documents i.e. RSVP Forms,
valid passports and any other relevant documents on time. Failing which, the
Company will not entertain any requests for travel arrangements.

16. No request for change of rewards, of any parts, appearances, or accessories will be
entertained.

17. By participating in the AIT, qualifiers agree to allow the Company to use, promote
and publish photographs of the qualifiers for advertising and publicity purpose
without additional compensation.

18. The Company reserves all rights to modify the Rules and Regulations herein
specified or cancel, terminate or suspend the campaign without prior notice.

19. The company reserves the right to change or replace rewards with other items of
similar or approximate value without prior notice.

20. Notification to agency force, staff and all related parties on claw back, invalidation
of awards title and other relevant communications will be initiated should title or
recognition are revoked.

21. The company’s decision on any matter pertinent to the AIT is final and no
subsequent appeals or correspondence will be entertained.

a) Extra Tickets to attend ADAP

The Group Agency Director has to be a Million Ringgit Agency to qualify as


one of Top 3 Group Agency Directors. Top 3 Group Agency Directors will be
given additional tickets to attend ADAP. They have the privilege of inviting
their agents, clients or potential new recruits.

b) Etiqa Challenge Trophy – Highest Recognition

Top Group Agency Director in FYCC will be given an exclusive Etiqa Challenge Trophy.

This yearly trophy is up for grabs by other Group Agency Directors in the following year and
onwards. However, Group Agency Director that wins this position for 3 times will get to keep
the Trophy. Entitlement of this reward is subject to fulfilment minimum group FYCC of
RM5,000,000.
