Reflection
1. What are the benefits of volunteering? (10 pts)
Volunteering provides many benefits to both mental and physical health, Because
Volunteering helps counteract the effects of stress, anger, and anxiety Because your overall
psychological wellbeing can be deeply influenced by the social interaction element of
supporting and interacting with others. Nothing better relieves stress than a positive link to
another person. It has also been shown to increase mood and decrease stress and anxiety
when interacting with pets and other animals. Volunteering can also make you happy by
measuring hormones and brain activity, researchers have discovered that being helpful to
others delivers immense pleasure. Human beings are hard-wired to give to others. The more
we give, the happier we feel. Volunteering can boost you self-confident Because for each
other and the community, you are doing well, which offers a natural sense of achievement.
Your job can also give you a sense of pride and identity as a volunteer. And the better you
feel about yourself, the more likely you are that your life and future aspirations will be
regarded positively. And Volunteering can advance your career because Volunteering will
help you get experience in your area of interest and meet people in the field if you're
considering a new career.
Volunteering gives you the chance to learn essential skills used in the workplace, such as
teamwork, communication, problem solving, project managing, task management, and
organization, even though you are not managing on changing careers. Once you've first honed
these abilities in a volunteer role, you may feel more comfortable extending your wings at work.

2. What does volunteering means to you? (10 pts)

Volunteering provides people in need, worthwhile causes, and the world with
valuable support, but for you, the volunteer, the rewards can be much greater. You will help
find mates, communicate with the group, learn new skills, and even progress your career with
the right match. Giving to others will also actually protect your physical and mental health. It
can reduce pressure, reduce anxiety, keep you stimulated mentally, and provide a sense of
intent. Although it is true that the more you volunteer, the more advantages you can
experience, there is no need for volunteering to entail a long-term commitment or to take a
massive amount of time out of your busy day. Giving in even simple ways will help those in
need to improve their happiness and health.
