 Review previous lesson by asking pupils to sing the song on page 96.
 Ask pupils to identify action words in the song.
 Write the words on the board.
Lesson development
1. Activity 1:
 Display flashcards of action words on the board.
 Point to the pictures and say the words aloud.
8  Pupils listen and follow.
 Lead pupils to identify the initial sound in each word and articulate the sounds.
 Then, lead pupils to segment the words into phonemes to spell.
2. Activity 2:
 Play a game with the pupils.
 Divide pupils into groups of four.
 Distribute magic cards and markers to each group.
 Pupils take turns to choose one magic card.
 The pupil colour over the magic card with a marker to make the word appears.
 Then, the pupil segments the word and do the corresponding action.
 Go around the class to monitor and help.
3. Post lesson :
 Distribute worksheets.
 Pupils look at the pictures and complete the missing sounds.
 Check answers with the class.
Pupils read 2-3 sentences by repeating after teacher.
