Welcome to the Arabic Language Level I Alternative Delivery Mode
(ADM) Module on Colors!
This module was collaboratively designed, developed and reviewed by
educators both from public and private institutions to assist you, the teacher or
facilitator in helping the learners meet the standards set by the K to 12
Curriculum while overcoming their personal, social, and economic constraints
in schooling.
This learning resource hopes to engage the learners into guided and
independent learning activities at their own pace and time. Furthermore, it also
aims to help learners acquire the needed 21st century skills while taking into
consideration their needs and circumstances.

What I Need to Know

This module was designed and written with you in mind. It is here to help
you master the different names of colors. The scope of this module permits it to
be used in many different learning situations. The language used recognizes the
diverse vocabulary level of ALIVE learners. The lessons are arranged to follow
the standard sequence of the course. But the order in which you read them can
be changed to correspond with the textbook you are now using.

The module is divided into two lessons, namely:


• Lesson 1 – Basic Colors
• Lesson 2 –Different Color of Objects
After going through this module, you are expected to:
1. identify examples of Arabic words associated with colors;
2. name objects and its color;
3. categorize objects based from its color; and
4. use appropriate colors in identifying colors of objects

Wow! Saan kaya galing ang mga ito? Isang palanggana na kulay asul
ang bumungad sa akin sa aking paggising. Ito ay nasa kusina. Nakita ko
ang mga masasarap, sariwa at masusustansiyang pagkain. Napakayabong
ng berdeng pechay. Ang laki ng mga hinog na kamatis na kulay pula.

Mayroon ding mahahabang talong na matingkad ang pagka kulay lila.
May nakita rin akong malaking kalabasa na kulay dilaw. Dumating si
nanay at aking tinanong “Nanay saan po galing ang mga ito?” ‘Yan ay
galing sa ating bakuran anak iyan ay tanim ng iyong ama” ,sagot ni nanay.
May nakita akong hawak ni nanay “Nanay ano po ang kulay kahel na
hawak ninyo?” “Ah ito ay carrots, ito ay galing din sa ating bakuran”
,sagot ni nanay “Wow! Ang galing ang dami po nating naaning gulay”, oo
anak ang pagtatanim ay mainam ito ay makukuhanan natin ng pagkain.”

Wow! Where do they come from? A basin in blue dawned on me when I


woke up. It's in the kitchen. I have seen delicious, fresh and nutritious
foods. Green pechay is very bountiful. The size of ripe tomatoes is red.
There are also long eggplants that are violet in color. I also saw a big
yellow pumpkin. Mom came in and I asked, "Mom, where are they from?"
“That is from the back yard of your son's garden,” Mom replied. I saw my
mom holding up, "Mom, what is that orange vegetable you are holding?"
“Ah its carrots, it's from our yard too” Mom replied “Wow! We have a
good amount of vegetables. "Yes planting is good so we will get some
food". Mom Said.
