Entrepreneur Needs:
The supply is here but the question is what do young people really need from coaches?

1/ Expertise in the field:

Having a business coaching is great but
getting help from industry experts is better.
If I operate in the finance industry, the
mentoring of expert financial managers or
analysts is crucial, because these people
know all the secrets of the fields, the
common problems to avoid and the details
that a beginner would never think of.
2/ How to build a business
plan:
Putting ideas into a business plan can help
the entrepreneur have a clear image of
his/her business as he is more aware of
his/her core business activities, objectives,
and how he will achieve his/her goals.
Knowing your clients, competitors, mission,
vision and strategy would help you progress.
3/ Have an administrative support:

No need to talk about the complexity of the

Tunisian administration, we have all been through
that. With all the paperwork required to start a
business, the entrepreneur might feel completely
lost as the process is complicated and time
consuming. Getting clear guidance on the steps to
be done in order to register a company, buy a
domain name, or go through the legal procedure
can boost and motivate young business people.
4/ Networking training:
We all know that the core of
entrepreneurship lies in people.
Having contacts and a great network
can help your business stand out. The
business and start up ecosystem is
based on networking. Whether it is for
finding a co-founder, a partner or an
employee, networking is key.
Coaches should emphasize working in
groups and incubators should hold
group trainings and projects.
5/ Fundraising training:

After a business is created, having

financial support to boost the
activity is crucial in most of the
cases. An entrepreneur should be
trained on how to approach
investors, how to pitch publicly, how
to negotiate and how to defend
ideas.
The perfect program:

1. Analysis of the business before entering the

coaching/incubation program.
2. Discuss and elaborate the business model of
the company.
3. Workshop 1: Create a business plan
4. Workshop 2: Administrative
tutoring

(Accounting, paperwork, APII, buying a

business name, nature of the company,
capital of the company, shareholders…)
4. Workshop 3: Pitch
training

Help entrepreneurs structure

their pitch and make it short,
concise and effective.
Some exercices can be
proposed like the Elevator
Pitch.
5. Workshop 4: Investor meeting oppotunities

Help startup owners meet potential investors

through events, online conferences, personal
meetings. The coaching program can organize a
networking events to reunite both sides.
