Talking about the frames structural and human resource frame being able to go back

and really put into perspective of what they are. Structural frame is something tangible and

talking about power and hierarchy. Then now bringing in circle network and all channel

network how it was mentioned that they are lateral and similar. Human resource frame is

something educators gravitate towards because it connects with us in many different ways.

Talking about the political and symbolic frames, I am also very similar to Jane’s

comment about being in a school where there is not much teacher turnover and there are

many great stories a lot of what she was saying is very similar almost identical to what my

school is going through! There are a lot of teachers that struggle with change and still wanting

to do things a certain way. Now were dealing with how it does not fit in with the new principal

and how she wants the school to be and the diversity we have now is way different than it was

years ago. We don’t do many celebrations anymore and holidays are looking a lot different

now. I know this year teachers are really trying to do something for Valentine’s day and have a

classroom party but students have to bring in their valentines for the class a week before so

they can “quarantine” before being passed out and then it will also be done by teachers. We

are also missing out on a lot of the fun sing a long’s that we did as a whole school. So, there is a

lot of structural change going on.

I have also viewed politics as being something negative because there is so much

involved within politics. Talking about power and conflict and that there are so many terms

related to it. The different types of conflict, the most common one that I have heard of is the
conflict-resolution. I also think of conflict as there are always two sides to every story and there

are different views to everything as well.

When talking about frames I can really identify with a few of the frames. Symbolic frame

I really like to know what certain things mean and how it connects to me. Structural frame is

being able to understand my role and where I stand and how it fits in with others. Lastly human

resource frame because building relationships as a teacher is important. Building relationships

with the students and families but also with coworkers. You rely on those relationships a lot

and it is important to have those, so everything runs smoothly.
