Reflection

To make the learning experiences of the students worthwhile, teachers should focus on

planning on key instructional goals which should be expressed in terms of the anticipated

outcomes of the students. During identification of goals and writing performance objectives, I

did not experience much problems. Having prior background on the topic, I was able to easily

identify the goals the goals that provided the rationale for instructions, therefore, writing the

performance objectives was not difficult. According to Clarke et al. (2003), providing feedback

and setting objectives work in tandem. As a new classroom teacher, I think writing performance

objectives will both be exhilarating and a learning opportunity. As a classroom teacher, I will

have to identify the success createria for learning and performance objectives in order to ensure

that the students are aware when they have realized these objectives.
