Task 3 Analysis of similar products

Inspiration:

There are many features of this leaflet that I find interesting and would possibly use in the making of my leaflet for exampl e the
use of the layout seems formal and that assisted with the overall colour scheme of the leaflet that allows the text to be clear and
appealing is a feature I would definitely want to include. The use of the contact information at the bottom of the leaflet wi th a
smaller text is also another feature I would consider using as it allows the reader to see the contact information last and to be
focused on the information that is presented on the leaflet.

There is also the idea that the leaflet uses a 6 page layout so the leaflet once done and printed would fold into a typical leaflet
people is given. This makes it easier to carry and easy to access therefore making it a great idea overall and something I will
definitely do when making my leaflet. The use of festival images behind the texts and on a slant I will also use (my own pictures)
as it makes the leaflet more interesting and overall more fun to look at as it gives the leaflet a informality that would appeal to
the typical age group of a festival, that of which being 18-30. Using subtle images like the person has done above will make the
overall look of the leaflet more appealing to read.

It’s possible I May also use a similar colour scheme for my leaflet as it allows the overall text to be easier to read and th e titles of
each information section is easy to identify which may help those who want to know certain information. Overa ll the colour
scheme makes the leaflet more accessible and gives more meaning to the text that has being placed within the leaflet. The
colour scheme allows for a small contrast with different are4as of the leaflet that separates important information (inf ormation
the white space) to simple and less important information placed in the areas with the purple background.
Inspiration:

This poster is the last one I analysed and a poster full of great features. One of the main features I like of this poster is the use of
the contrasted illumines colours which help to make the information placed on the poster more prominent and appealing due
to the dark background. There is the use of the prominent blue colours that is used consistently throughout this poster from the
text, to the blue atmosphere waves and lastly the posters page bolder. The constant use of this colour allows for consistency and
makes the poster look appealing and not over filled with colours.

Another feature I find is genuinely quite good is the use of the image of a planet on the poster to represent the idea of the
festival not only being a digital event but also a global event. It’s possibly that due to recent circumstances that the festival I am
promoting in my media products could possibly go digitally as well as live which would potentially bring more profit as well as
more views/customers for the event therefore including such features such as promoting the digital aspect of a festival it may
make the event more appealing to those of the audience who may not feel comfortable coming to an event knowing to be
crowded and highly populated. So overall this would be a good feature to not only include on the poster but also for the festival
itself if possible.

The last feature I would love to also use in my poster that is present within this poster is the use of the logo at the top o f the
poster. This is not only a great way to promote the event but also to give the event a logo to be recognised with just like the
event being advertised in the poster (Tomorrowland). This feature is incredibly useful to get the event branded and helps also to
promote future events as those who see any leaflets, posters or overall any promotional material will identify it with the creator
of past events linked to that logo. This would mean I would have to create a logo with the client for the music festival I am
advertising for and overall create a brand image for the digital products.
