The Bikol Language Identification Tool was developed by the

ABC+: Advancing Basic Education in the Philippines project.

ABC+ is a partnership of USAID and the Department of

Bikol Language Identification Tool Education (DepEd), implemented by RTI International together
with The Asia Foundation, SIL LEAD and Florida State
The purpose of the tool is to automate the process of identifying the University.
native language spoken by each teacher and learner in the Bikol Region.

Download and Install How to Use the Language Identification Tool

1 Go to this link: https://bit.ly/R5_LanguageTool

and download the Language Tool.zip
1 From the language tool folder, double-click the
R5_BikolLangIdentificationTool_v11 4 When done, click the button.

2 Enter the information needed and click 5 Your certificate and result will be displayed.
Print if needed.

2 Right-click on the zip file and click

“Extract All”

3 Select the equivalent word in your language. For

learners, you can look at the pictures and answer
items 1-24 only. 6 Click to include your name in
the result list otherwise click
Click the icon under
each word to hear how
the word is pronounced in
its orthographic form. This
is especially important
when the differences in
the words in each
language are not easily
representable
7 SAVE the file.
Remember the For learners, the tool should be administered by the teacher.
