Gap to Be Bridged by the Study

Upon the thorough review and analysis of the different related studies and literature
presented in this paper, the researchers found out that the present study which is
“Community Participation in Peace and Order During COVID-19 Pandemic in Daraga,
Albay” is not a duiplicate of the foregoing studies. There are no reports or studies on the
current status of community participation in peace and order in Daraga, Albay during the
COVID-19 pandemic available.

The main focus of this is to acquaint the status of the LGU Daraga on how new
policies and regulations in peace and order engaged the residents into community
participation and to determine the problems encountered in relation to its
implementation. This study will also help increase community awareness and
opportunities to make an idea to improve strategies, policies, project and programs
regarding the policies and regulations in peace and order in Daraga, Albay. This is the
first study about the community participation in peace and order during COVID-19
pandemic in Daraga, Albay – the gap that the present study bridged.
