A NARRATIVE REPORT

I. INTRODUCTION/ RATIONALE

Instruction, Research and Extension Programs are the major functions of Higher
Education Institutions as envisioned by the Commission on Higher Education.
Extension Programs serve as an avenue to make an institutions` presence to be
felt in the community. It involves various services through which extension
programs of an HEI can be extended to certain community such as extending
health care services, promoting environmental management, alleviating the
economic condition of the community through implementation of livelihood
projects, devising literacy programs to improve the education status of the
people of the community, thus promoting economic and social transformation of
the people in the community.

In order to deliver the extension services of __ to the community that needs it


most, the institution came up with the ENGAGING TO DIFFERENT COMMUNITY
SERVICE IS THE

II. ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN

The _________ education students were assigned to ________ as part of their final requirement in
_______. The students were divided in a group which is compose ______ members. They were
assigned to conduct a program which is Community Service and Gift Giving entitled
__________________ for the expected students of two madrasah schools. Last December 5-7, 2019
,
                         Our program was held at ___________________ . Those invited families
were attend the program. There were games, food and gifts prepared by the third year education
students for them. The children and parents were actively participated and truly enjoyed the program
as we can see their smiles. It such a nice experience to help others this way. Even though it was in a
simple way, I always treasured this kind of fulfillment. I  believe that the true essence of helping does
not  requires big amount or expensive things but rather you give effort and  from the bottom of your
heart.
                          The program was successfully ended with the help of our very supportive professors
and of each other. Of course, Glory to GOD because he gave us knowledge, skills and kindly hearts.
