1. Discuss briefly how to play Sepaktakraw?
Answer:
A serve initiates the game. Tossing a coin determines which team will serve first. The
winner of the toss has the option of serving or defending. The set begins with the side that
serves first. The server must have one of his legs inside the service circle during the service,
while the other players must stay in their quarter circles. The feeder or striker tosses the ball to
the server who kicks it across the net to the opposing team's side with no foot in the service
circle. After the referee has announced the score,
the ball must be tossed to the server. If the throw occurs before the score is called, the ball is re-
thrown and the team is issued a warning. A serve is considered valid if itit crosseshe net to the
opposing team's side inside the boundary line before the opposing team’s boundary line. It
doesn’t matter if it touches the net or not. The players are allowed to move into any portion of
their respective court once the service is completed. In response to the server, the defensive
team at tempts to transfer the ball across the goal to the other side in three touches. The feeder
and server usually move around the court to defend the opposition’s serve and set the ball for
the striker to strike in two touches. The service will be chosen by the team that wins the first set.
The game will continue until one of the teams commits a mistake. When a team commits a
mistake, the other team receives a point. Each side has a one minute tactical timeout during the
game when the ball is not in play. There are no built in timers. In the case of Regu matches, a
maximum of five players is allowed on the baseline during the stoppage. The referee has the
authority to temporarily pause the game for five minutes if a player is injured and requires rapid
medical attention. If the player is still unable to participate after five minutes, he can be
replaced with another player.

before the commencement of the game. This means that he and his teammates each have a
unique position in the game that cannot be changed. As a tekong, you must get all of the ball
