A.) What are the impacts of social media to man and society?

Man- People become unhappy with their current circumstances, resulting in problems
with self-esteem and depression. Social media use has also been related to cyber bullying
and cyber abuse by anonymous users online, which ends up in problems of self-esteem,
privacy ,etc.

Society - Social media may be very influential on society in both positive and negative
ways. It gives people some way to remain in contact with those that live distant. It lets
people share fun, see interesting and informative content. It gives businesses the way to
have interaction with customers.

 Give the difference of people in media and people as media?


- People in Media are media practitioners which implies they're media related
professionals while people as media aren't media practitioners but rather media users.

B.) What is the purpose of entertainment media?


- it is a type of activity that holds the eye and interest of an audience or gives pleasure
and delight. It is a thought or a task, but is more likely to be one in all the activities or
events that have developed over thousands of years specifically for the aim of keeping an
audience's attention.

 What is the quality of an entertainment show that we should be looking for in watching
television and using social media sites?
- an entertainment that may produce desired states like relaxation or arousal and may
induce the range of human emotions that enrich standard of living. The emotional and
social satisfactions provided by entertainment are supplemented by their impact on
executive functioning and health.

C.) Why do you have to follow the codes of ethics in using social media?
- Social media allows anyone to share basically anything online. Within a business, it's
their responsibility to make a positive identity for his or her brand. If policies aren't put
into place, employees can be liberal to share anything to anyone

 How will you deal with the situation wherein your ideas and personal beliefs were
negatively criticized?
- It’s easier to complain about the outside critics, but the biggest critic in your life
usually lives between your own two ears. Working up the courage to move past your
own vulnerability and uncertainty is often the greatest challenge you’ll face on the
way to achieving your goals.

 How will you avoid plagiarism?


- Learn the principles of good writing so you have the necessary skills to express your
ideas with your own words.
