Semi- Detailed Lesson Plan in Science 10- 3rd Quarter

I. CONTENT STANDARD:
The learners demonstrate an understanding of:
1. Organisms as having feedback mechanisms, which are coordinated by the nervous and
endocrine systems
2. How these feedback mechanisms help the organism maintain homeostasis to reproduce
and survive.

II. LEARNING COMPETENCY


The learners should be able to describe the parts of the reproductive system and their
functions.

III. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson the students will be able to:
1. Identify the parts of the reproductive system
2. Describe the functions of each part of the reproductive system, and;
3. Recognize the importance of reproductive system to the human and animals.

B. MOTIVATION

GAME: GUESS WHAT

The students will arrange the jigsaw puzzles


that the teacher prepared through the ProProfs
Brain Games and Puzzle. The students need
to click the link to participate in the game.

C. PRESENTING EXAMPLES
BRAINSTORMING
The students will have brainstorming about
the topic through the use of a website called
Slido. The teacher will post the link that will
direct the students to the website. The
students will share their ideas which can also
assess their prior knowledge about the topic.

GAME: DON’T LET ME HANG
The students will going to play a game similar
to “Hangaroo”. This game will let the
students give letters for them to be able to
guess the correct word/s which are related to
the male and female reproductive system. The
teacher, on the other hand, will provide the
link for the game.

The teacher will present a video that shows
and discusses the female and male
reproductive system. Students are requested
to listen thoroughly and jot down important
information. After watching the video, the

2. What are the parts of male reproductive
organ? Female reproductive organ?
3. What are the functions of each parts?
