Day 1

Today I’m going to observe a Grade 10 Science class they are 43 in all. It’s not the first day of their class
that’s why I will not see an introduction of the teacher and student itself. The class starts with a prayer
followed by checking of attendance and discussion with their task. The Grade 10 student will have
Science Investigatory Project or also known as research. The teacher starts to show a sample of SIP and
explaining the content. She also explains the purpose and goal of the SIP she elaborate the content of
the paper for further understanding of the student. There’s no interaction between the student and
teacher during discussion, the student are attentively listening to their teacher. While discussion they
experience some difficulties with the connection cause it’s raining today. After the teacher explains all
the parts of the research paper to the class she starts to open up the groupings. She let the student
choose if they are going to form their own group mates or she will assigned the group member and the
class choose to make their own groupings. The teacher takes the list of every group for their project and
after that she just gave some tips in making their paper and end the class.

October 1. 2021
Day 2

Today is the second day of my observation the Grade 10 class that I observe only have one meeting per
week that’s why it’s been a week before I have my second day in observing. The class starts again with a
prayer and checking of attendance. Today the teacher is not going to discuss a lesson in the class
because every group of SIP will present their title and concept of ideas for their paper. The group one
start to explain their title and concept of idea followed by other group while they explaining their title
and the concept of ideas the teacher are giving some tips to enhance their idea and title so it will be
more applicable in their project she also suggest on what they need to add and remove to their chosen
title and ideas. When all of the group presents their title and ideas their teacher remind them to make
the changes that she point on their work she also said the things that they going to do on next meeting
after that the teacher end the class.

October 8, 2021
Day 3

Today is my day 3 in observing the class of Grade 10 they started the class with a prayer and checking of
attendance. Today their going to present their research paper the group one and two is the only
presenter for this meeting they present their research paper. The teacher is just listening during the
whole presentation of the two groups and asking some question little by little. Their class has an
overtime today due to the presentation but after they present their paper the teacher ask the presenter
to send their soft copy so she could check the parts and terms needed to arrange with their paper.
