Katungkulan Beach Resort is a beautiful beach located within the General Gregorio Lim Marine Base in

Sitio Calumpang, Sapang 1, Ternate, Cavite. It is also called as Boracay de Cavite because of it’s off-

white but fine sand. The beach has a clean water and an impressive high wall of stone on one side that

serves as a perfect backdrop for selfie-shots.

 Why There is a need to innovate the Product/ services

It is needed to innovate the product/services due to lack of rooms cottages and adding sports

activity that will helps to attract more tourist now a days there’s a lot of tourist are looking

relaxing place and unique offer

Nowadays beach resorts has been growing and known as one of the travelers get to go places. We come

up with different ideas, strategies and innovations that will help our establishment grow and will gain the

attention of a lot of tourists. Katungkulan Beach Resort also know as Boracay de Cavite is a public resort

that has been rated most of its tourist with 3 stars out of 5 stars. We studied the resort's review if what is

the cause of lower rating and how will we make it higher. So here are the innovations that we will apply:

1. Make it a private resort. From 100 pesos entrance fee will change to 700 pesos per head. This will be a

good start for the change because most of the reviews said that the resort has been overcrowded and trash

can be seen in the different parts of the resort. This will help to protect and maintain the beach's

cleanliness and its image for our tourists.

2. Improve and add comfort rooms and cottages. Most of the tourist regret coming here because the

comfort room is not well maintained, no lights and sometimes no water coming up from the faucet. We

will also add cottages so we can accomodate more tourist especially in peak seasons.

3. We also come up with the idea of adding sport activities that can be rentable. First, set up a small

inflatable obstacles alongside the beach. Tourists can access through it by adding 300 pesos in the the

entrance fee with a life vest to ensure the safeness. Second, we will also add jetskis and hydroflyers that

can be rentable. This will add fun for the thrill seekers tourist and gain more attention for our target

guests. Lastly, we will also offer banana boat rides to adults for an exciting experience to try.

With this ideas and innovations Katungkulan Beach will be added in the tourist's bucket list that they

would love to visit. It will also help to maintain and preserve the beautiful scenery of the beach.

 Benefit and Challenges of the Proposed Innovation

The possible benefits of this innovation it will helps to improve their room facilities and

increase sport activities that will provide great experience for all the tourist. Also, their

income will increase because of the innovation offers and more tourist will come of the

wonderful offers of katungkulan beach resort.

Challenges

The possible challenges of this innovation are some people might look that it's quite expensive. Looking

at the good side of it, it will be the only way to maintain the beach's cleanliness and to have funds that

will be used to improve the facilities. This can also be the solution to fix all the services provided by the

resort especially in the comfort rooms.
