Curved and Flexible Displays

Mobile device manufacturers have launched devices with

curved displays e.g. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge which can
display notifications, text messages, weather information
etc. on the curved edge for the convenience of the user ..
Other areas of developments are flexible and
transparent . that have been developed by Samsung, LG
etc. Many of the flexible displays use polymide film as the
backplane. Polyimides are strong, flexible plastics that can
achieve a high degree ofcurvature by allowing a much
thinner backplane than the conventional plastic .
Transparent displays with a transmittance of 30% have
already been achieved . These displays could be useful in
advertising, security etc. applications. A curved display
reduces the effective depth of a phone when you hold it,
making it easier to tap buttons or keyboard keys with your
thumbs, particularly on a 6.5-inch or larger handset.

Curved and Ultra High Definition

(UHD) or 4K Resolution Displays

Curved displays or monitors, are already available as

consumer products and are manufactured by Dell, LG,
Samsung etc. These offer better viewing angle, less
reflection, better 3D experience etc. However, these
displays also have some drawbacks e.g. higher cost,
wall hanging problem etc.. The UHD or 4K resolution
displays are able to produce 4 times more than the
HD i.e. in the order of 4000 pixels horizontally for
clearer and crispier viewing experience. Many
manufacturers produce displays that are curved and
support UHD resolution. Since a curved screen directs light from all angles towards the viewer's eye, the
idea is that you will be able to take everything in without much ocular exertion. Therefore, if your eyes
are more easily covering a larger field of view, as compared to flat screens, then curved monitors will
thus feel larger. A curved monitor helps reduce eye fatigue because its curvature physically matches
human eyes' shape, so your eyes tend to feel more relieved when you look at the screen from a short
distance. Because the screen is curved, the distance between your eyes and the screen remains the
same.

Projection or Virtual Keyboard

It is a small portable device that connects via a wireless

technology e.g. Bluetooth to a smart-phone, tablet,
laptop etc. and projects a keyboard on a flat surface to
interact with the user. It allows the user to use a
conveniently sized keyboard without even carrying a
physical keyboard. These devices even take the shape of
a key fob. Celluon Epic, the V200 key fob etc. are some
examples. Virtual keyboards are nonphysical keyboards
that produce text on the screen of an electronic device
through the device user tapping virtual keys either
displayed on the device's screen or projected via laser onto a flat surface. The Virtual Keyboard is
designed to protect your password from malicious “Spyware” and “Trojan Programs”. Use of Virtual
keyboard will reduce the risk of password theft. One benefit of a physical keyboard is the ability to feel
the keys pushing down.

It’s an honor for me to contribute to our country with the possibility of making an eyeglasses which can
help our it specialist or even a classic human to perform more convenient life. I will name it “Rastaman”.
Based on my own beliefs rastaman or Ronaldo Plaza thinks our future more far ahead from the rest of
the running candidates for our government term. Like flying cars and futuristic buildings or convenient
stores and malls, etc. The use of my invention enables real-time access to various information and data,
this makes it possible to maximize engagement and increase workforce efficiency. The hands-free
feature also provides greater flexibility for workers while they are performing their tasks. It helps us to
add information alongside or to what the wearer sees. It may control or retrieve data from other
instruments or computers. It may support wireless technologies like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS.
