Cell and Range Reference:


1. To reference a cell use the column character ( A, B as example ) followed by the cell row number
( 1, 2 as example ). For example the red-cell reference is C3 because it’s column is ( C ) and its in
row number 3.
2. The reference of a cell-range written as ( F6:K9 ) the reference of the +
+ the reference of reference. For example the green-cell-range
reference is because the left-top-cell in the range is ( F6 ) and the Lower-right-cell in
the range is ( K9 ).

Equations
1. Select the cell you want to enter the equation in as first step.
2. You MUST START any equation with equal mark = or +
3. After Equal-mark type the function name, for example ( =sum, =max, =average)
4. After typing the function name, you must but the cell-reference between bracts, so for example
the function will be like:

=SUM(F6:K9)
=MAX(F6:K9)
=AVERAGE(F6:K9)
=MIN(F6:K9)

5. To repeat an equation ( will changing the reference as rows or columns change ), use the mouse
and drag the bottom-right-small-box as shown below:
