This government scheme was started in the year 2006 under the name of Mukhyamantri Kanyadan
Yojana (CM Nikah Yojana Madhya Pradesh) but in November 2015 it was renamed as
Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah and Nikah Yojana and the assistance amount was also increased from
Rs 28000 to 51000. The rupee was reduced.
Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana or Kanyadaan Yojana 2020 is a social welfare scheme, the
scheme is implemented by the Department of Social Justice and Disabled Welfare.
Financial assistance as well as gifts are provided to the newly married couple under the Chief
Minister Kanya Marriage Assistance Scheme.
The MP Kamgar Setu registrations for loan under the new Mukhyamantri Rural Street Vendor Loan
Scheme are being invited. The state govt. is providing loans upto Rs. 10,000 without interest to
street vendors of rural areas.
The MP state government on the lines of urban street vendors loan scheme has now started rural
street vendors loan scheme.
In this scheme, working capital of Rs. 10,000 without interest from banks will be given to rural
street vendors for their works and business.
The entire amount of interest will be borne by the Madhya Pradesh government.
Even beneficiaries are not required to give any kind of collateral security and security deposit to
banks.

The government will offer Rs 25,000 to each student who have scored at least 85% marks Class 12
board exams conducted by Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) to buy laptops.
Through this MP Free Laptop Yojana, both regular and self-taught students would be benefited.
Students who stood meritorious in MPBSE examinations of class 12th in the academic year 2019-20
can avail this offer.
This MP Free Laptop Scheme 2020 is a newer version of the earlier Pratibhashali Chhatra
Protsahan Yojana.
In that scheme, govt. was providing financial assistance of Rs. 25,000 for purchasing laptops to all
Medhavi Chhatra.
Meritorious students will now get Citation Certificate (Samman Patra) and an amount of Rupees
25000/- each for the purchase of laptops to pursue higher education.
MP State Open School Education Board, MPSOS will conduct the Class 10, 12 supplementary exams
from August 17, 2020.
Students who have failed in MP Board Result 2020 can apply for the exam under the Ruk Jana Nahi
Yojna or RJNY 2020.
The students who have failed in the 2018-19 board exam can also apply for the examination.
The state govt. has given surprise for students who have not succeeded in first time under Ruk Jana
Nahi Yojana.
Those students will be given one more chance in the month of August 2020. The students who pass
the exam will be assisted to get admission to pursue further classes.
The last date to apply for Class 10 examinations is 28 July 2020. Students of MP 12th Board can
apply before 5 August 2020.
Farmer would be benefited from the solar water pump subsidy as the cost of installation which is
comparably high will now be borne by the MP state government.
Madhya Pradesh government has launched MP Hamara Ghar Hamara Vidyalaya Scheme 2020 for
students. The new My Home My School scheme was launched on 27 June 2020 over a virtual
platform by Principal Secretary Rashmi Arun Shami.
This scheme will maintain academic regularity of the students during the Coronavirus (COVID-19)
lockdown.
The new online education scheme has started from 6th July 2020 and created school like
environment in home.
In this MP Hamara Ghar Hamara Vidyalaya Scheme 2020, students will study, write stories and
prepare notes.
Every student learns, develop skills and get experience from every opportunity they receive.
My Home My School is a scheme which would also involve family of students in their studies.
Classes will start from 10 a.m in hourly batches of 1 hour each.
School Education Dept. of MP is also providing time table to students as well as their parents for
online education learning.
Monday to Friday would be study time while on Saturday, entertainment activities would be
organized under Masti Ki Paathshala Scheme.
CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has issued directions to the officials to provide work to returning
migrants on a fast track basis.
Moreover, short term planning and long term planning would be made to provide job security to
skilled migrant labourers.
The main aim is to link the skilled migrant labourers with the employers (job providers).
As a part of short term planning, govt. has taken data from panchayats and regularize migrant
workers in construction, industries, factories and other businesses.
The main focus of the Ladli Laxmi Yojana of Madhya Pradesh is to bring positive changes in the
society towards girls as well as to improve their educational and economic status so as to lay the
foundation for their future.
Ladli Laxmi Yojana in Madhya Pradesh was started by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on 1
April 2007.
Seeing the success of MP Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Chief Ministers of other states also launched it in their
states. Now the scheme is applicable in six other states besides MP.
In addition, under door-to-door mid-day meal scheme, ration has also been provided to 56 lakh 87
thousand children.
The Additional Secretary also informed that the amount of food security allowance was transferred
through NIC (National Informatics Centre) on March 29, 2020 by the Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh
Chouhan in the bank accounts of children’s parents. This amount has been received by all the parents.
Manoj Shrivastava also added that since the schools were closed in the month of April 2020, with the
help of Anganwadi workers, representatives of Panchayats and local teachers mid-day meal ration
were delivered at the doorsteps of the children.
Recently, the MP Chief Minister has launched ‘Jeevan Amrit Yojana’ scheme to boost the immune
system of people to fight COVID-19 disease and ‘Chief Minister COVID-19 Yoddha Kalyan Yojana’ to
benefit the Anganwadi workers and Assistants of the Madhya Pradesh, under the scheme the state
government provides special health insurance of Rs 50 lakhs.
SDM Swapnil Wankhede mentioned that the vehicle will allow the healthcare workers to access
inside any area and test the suspects without stepping off the vehicle.
The healthcare workers of Madhya Pradesh were infected by coronavirus and they were attacked in
many parts of the state by the locals. The vehicle will prevent healthcare workers from getting
infected with COVID-19 and to protect them from attacks.
The vehicle does not require the Personal Protective Equipment Kit(PPE).
The Rewa solar power plant will not only supply power to Madhya Pradesh, but also to the Delhi
Metro.
This Rewa project comprises three solar generating units of 250 MW each located on a 500 hectare
plot of land situated inside a Solar Park (total area 1500 hectare).
The Solar Park was developed by the Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL), a joint venture
company of Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVN), and Solar Energy Corporation of
India (SECI), a Central Public Sector Undertaking.

Rewa Solar Project is an example of the excellent results that can be achieved if there is synergy
between Central and State Governments.
This project will reduce carbon emission equivalent to approx. 15 lakh ton of CO2 per year.
The Rewa Project has been acknowledged in India and abroad for its robust project structuring and
innovations.
Its payment security mechanism for reducing risks to power developers has been recommended as
a model to other States by MNRE.
It has also received World Bank Group President’s Award for innovation and excellence and was
included in the book “A Book of Innovation: New Beginnings” released by Prime Minister.
The project is also the first renewable energy project to supply to an institutional customer outside
the State, i.e. Delhi Metro, which will get 24% of energy from the project with remaining 76% being
supplied to the State DISCOMs of Madhya Pradesh.
The Rewa Project also exemplifies India’s commitment to attain the target of 175 GW of installed
renewable energy capacity by the year 2022, including 100 GW of Solar installed capacity.
To provide employment to migrant labourers and those labourers who have gone out in search of
employment, in their village and gram panchayats.
A large number of employment oriented activities have been started under the MNREGA scheme to
implement this program. New labourers will be engaged in these activities.
In this video conferencing, 100 district centres will be linked with the 2 V.C conference hall located
in all district headquarters of the state, and the participation of village heads and MNREGA labourers
will be ensured by sharing the link at other block headquarters also.
As per the official information, 19 lakh 92 thousand labourers are working in 22695 gram panchayats
out of 22809 gram panchayats in the state.
From April 1 till now more than 35 lakh 45 thousand labourers have been provided employment
under MNREGA during the Corona crisis, in this 42.2% women have been given employment.
It is argued that giving preferential treatment to the residents of a state will help in rightful allocation
of the resources of the state and would encourage people to work within the boundaries of their state.
This is also seen as a way to stop migration of people from backward states to metropolitans, thereby
reducing the burden on such cities.
The move to give reservation to the candidates born in the state itself runs against the spirit of
constitutional equality and fraternity. It is more likely that such politically motivated steps would be
overturned by the judiciary as has been done several times in the past.
Also, the government is not an employment guaranteeing agency rather an authority which should
create an environment through its policies which minimizes inequalities in income, status, facilities
and opportunities.
The e-waste clinic is a 3-month project and if the project becomes successful then it will be
established in other parts of the country also.
The process includes segregation, processing, and disposal of waste from both household and
commercial units.
The electronic waste will be collected door to door or could be deposited directly at the e-waste clinic
while CPCB will provide technical support.
The e-waste clinic consists of low floor bus and TV is installed displays documentary films on
“Environmental damage caused by e-waste”.
Chairperson of the CPCB SPS Parihar, principal secretary of the environment department Malay
Shrivastav, commissioner of the Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) Vijay Dutta were present in
the occasion.
The unit plans to utilize this compost as manure thus substituting consumption of fertilisers/ manure
used for developments of Parks or Public places. The compost can also be used by the residents in
their Lawns and Kitchen Gardens.
MP Launched ‘Roko -Toko’ Campaign for those who do not Wear Masks
Madhya Pradesh has announced to launch a campaign ‘Roko -Toko’, which means stop and campaign
for those who do not wear masks. It is to ensure that all wear masks as the usage of masks is made
mandatory in all public places in the state.
Selected voluntary organizations will provide masks to the people who do not wear masks in public
places and will charge an amount of Rs 20 per mask from the concerned.As per the issued guidelines
of the state, the collector will select voluntary organizations in the district for the work.
While making selection, the number of persons available, credibility and efficiency of the
organization will be taken into consideration.
Under ‘Jeevan Shakti Yojana’ the selected organizations will be provided 100 masks on credit.
Madhya Pradesh to form trust for ‘Ram Van Gaman Path’ project
Madhya Pradesh is set up to form the trust under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Kamal Nath for
the project of constructing ‘Ram Van Gaman Path’ project, a route taken by Lord Ram during his 14-
years of life in the forest.
The project seeks to retrace the route believed to have been taken by Lord Ram during his life in
forest and it is proposed to be constructed from Chitrakoot to Amarkantak. State chief secretary will
be the member of the trust.
The cabinet also approved for the purchase of 1, 320 MW (megawatt) power from Adani Power
Limited on the basis of a competitive bidding process at the rate of Rs 4.79 per unit for the year 2026-
27 as per the long-term power purchase guidelines.
Gopal Reddy is a 1985 batch IAS officer is currently serving as an Officer on Special Duty before he
takes charge as the state’s new Chief Secretary.
He worked as a vice-chairman of the Narmada Valley Development Authority prior to the current
position.
Sudhi Ranjan Mohanty is to take charge as a Director-General of RCPV Academy of Administration.
The government has decided to increase the amount of discretionary funds of the Ministers from 50
lakh to one crore rupees in the state. Similarly, the annual voluntary grant amount of Ministers of
State has been increased from 35 lakh to 60 lakh.
Along with this, approval has been given to fill 560 posts in Women and Child Development
Department to operate 100 % aided ‘One Stop Centre’ Scheme of the Government of India (GoI) in 51
districts of the State.
Under the loan waiver scheme called “Jai Kisan Fasal Rin Maafi Yojana”,the government has so far
forgiven the debt of 21 lakh farmers. Now another list has been prepared. In which loan of 10 lakh
farmers will be waived.
1-10 lakh population: Among cities with 1-10 lakh population, Jamshedpur (Jharkhand) ranked 1st
in both quarter 1 and quarter 2.
Quarter 1: Jamshedpur was followed by New Delhi (Delhi) and Khargone (Madhya Pradesh) in the
2nd and 3rd place respectively.

The Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation initiated the food delivery services in
Bhopal, Gwalior and Jabalpur.
MPTDC has launched a food app to enable the delivery services to ensure the availability of foods of
the corporation’s hotel and restaurants aimd Covid-19 pandemic.
The cards will possess complete information on both sides of the cards unlike the previous ones. They
will carry unique numbers recognized across the country.
Each card will have a QR code that helps to verify authenticity of the data printed on the cards.
Numerous information including the name, address, blood group, DOB, Photograph of the holder,
issuing authority, validity & other details will be stored in a chip.
The unified driving license card states about the ability of the driver to drive in hilly & dangerous
areas & emergency contact number.
Among states/UTs having more than 1 crore population, Madhya Pradesh was ranked 1st for best
performance since inception of the scheme. MP was followed by Andhra Pradesh and Haryana in the
2nd and 3rd place respectively.
Among states/UTs having less than 1 crore population, Dadra & Nagar Haveli ranked 1st. It was
followed by Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh in the 2nd and 3rd place respectively.

One of the largest producers & Chilli Mandi in the country is Khargone(District in Nimar
region).Nimar & Malwa regions are the highest chilli producing regions in MP. The red chillies of
these regions are exported to China, Pakistan, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia.
The scheme Hamara Ghar-Hamara Vidyalaya was prepared by the Education Center of Madhya
Pradesh which means – “My Home – My School”.
The scheme provides a school like environment to the children taught at their home through online
classes. iii.Under the scheme the school bells will be heard in the students house and the teachers will
begin the class of the students after the bell.
The classes will be held from 10.00am to 1.00pm with 1 hours classes for every subject.
The scheme will provide the subject preparation for the teachers of class 1 to 8.
The timetable for the students’ education and other activities under this scheme are prepared by the
school education department.
As per the time table the students will have subject classes from Monday to Friday and on
viii.Saturday the students will be engaged in activities like yoga, write and listen stories etc.
The scheme has been started with an aim to provide low cost masks to the citizens and employment
to women entrepreneurs.
The Jeevan Shakti Yojana has facilitated women of urban and rural areas to become self-reliant in the
corona crisis.
In order to provide employment to women at local level and to protect the general public from the
corona infection, the task of making masks in large quantities at low cost has been accomplished in
the state by this scheme.
Women entrepreneur Seema informed that masks made by us are being purchased at district level
at the fixed rate of 11 rupees per mask.
From the commencement of the scheme more than 10 thousand women entrepreneurs have
registered themselves for making masks.
It may be mentioned that orders of about 20 lakh masks costing over 2 crore rupees have already
been placed to the women entrepreneurs.
Madhya Pradesh government has announced that it will implement the Right to water act soon, then
it will be First state in the country to implement such an act.
The conference held with four sessions are Importance of Traditional water bodies structure, right
to water-role of multi stakeholders approach, MP river rejuvenation campaign and last session is
about open discussion.
State water resources Minister Shri Sukhdev Panse and Jal Purush or “waterman of India” Rajendra
Singh were also present in the conference.
