A. Introduction
The learners will be exposed to the walkthrough of the lesson expectations

Learning Task 1:
The learners will be task to skim the given news articles on the collage and
identify their headlines from the given choices. This will be done through

B. Development Learning Task 2: The learners will be asked to intensively read article
number 2 of the collage above and answer the question inside the box
below. (This will be done through google docs)

Learning Task 3: The learners will identify the reading technique used in
each of the following situations. This will be done orally.

according to the Maranaws. They used the table of

 Since the lesson proper/topic was already discussed during the


previous meeting, the teacher will ask some learners to share
with the class about their learnings on the 4 types of reading
styles.
 The teacher will give some key points remember on how to
utilize the different reading style.

C. Engagement Learning Task 4: The learners will be asked to skim and scan the
infographic below. They will first solve the jigsaw puzzle of the given

Learning Task 5: ASYNCHRONOUS Andy-Diagram

 After solving the puzzle, the learners will be asked to complete


the given paragraph. This will be done orally.

Air pollution is a major environmental risk to (1.)_______________. If not

The learners will be tasked to use the given job advertisement and answer
the questions that follow. This will be done through google docs.

Learning Task 7(ASYNCHRONOUS) The learners will be tasked to find a


Philippine news article about COVID-19. They will be asked to take a picture
of the news article that they choose to read then insert it on the teacher
provided google docs. The learners will write a 3-5-sentence summary
about the news article read.

Learning Task 8(ASYNCHRONOUS): The learners will be tasked to look


for any kind of form (e.g. enrolment form, deposit or withdrawal slip, etc.)
available in their locality or home. They will capture a photo of it and insert it
on the provided google docs given by the teacher. Using the chosen form,
they will specify what specific details it asks from its clients.
