1.Turn off the client PC

will open
5.Go to `` Boot “
6.Select Hard Drive by clicking the arrow up / arrow down then Enter.
7.Select First the USB/ Kingston by using the plus + sign / minus – sign .
8.Select Save and Exit Example F10 or other representing the save and exit
9.Then delete the partition and just only one will stay/ remain then “ Enter ‘ / Press any key

10.Press Shift F10 and type “taskmgr” then Enter

HOW TO INSTALL WINDOWS 2012 IN THE SERVER PC

1.Turn off the Server PC


2.Put the USB at the back of the server PC.
3.Turn on the Server PC
4.Always Press “Delete” button simultaneously until the screen will appeared and until the BIOS
will open.
5.Go to Boot
6.Select Hard Drive by clicking the arrow up / arrow down then Enter
7.Select First the USB / Kingston by uasing the plus + sign / minus – sign
8.Select Save and exit . Example is F10 or others representing the save and exit
9.Then Delete the Partition and just only one will stay or remain then “Enter”/ Press any key
“Enter” Start Install
10.Press “Shift F10” and type “taskmgr’ then Enter
11.Right Click, Install Windows
12.Select Go to Process

CORE 3 SET UP COMPUTER SERVER


CONFIGURE SERVER
1.Install and Configure (Active Directory Domain Services and DNS)

Disconnect the network cable from the Router only


Turn OFF the Client PC
Click the Lan icon on the SERVER PC
Click open network and Sharing Center
Click Ethernet/ PROPERTIES
Double Click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP IPv4)
Assign an IP address : 192.168.1.50
Click Subnet Mask and Click OK and then Click CLOSE
Click SERVER MANAGER then Click ADD ROLES AND FEATURES
Click Next , next , next
Check Active Directory Domain Services
Click Install ( Then ayaw I close leave it open like that)
Click PROMOTE THIS SERVER TO A DOMAIN CONTROLLER
Select ADD A NEW FOREST and type a domain name in ROOT DOMAIN
NAME box. EXAMPLE STA.com – kasagaran school name or name of business mao
nay imohang ilog.in
Click Next
Type in a Password – always ttype the PASSWORD (@dmin123)
Click Next, Next, Next, Next, Next, Next
Then Click Install
Server PC will Restasrt- mo restart ang server pc nimo (just wait)

2.Install and Configure (DHCP)

Click SERVER MANAGER


Click ADD ROLES AND FEATURES

CHECK DHCP SERVER
Click ADD FEATURES
Click Next,Next,Next
Click Install – ( AYAW I Close leave it open like that)
Click COMPLETE DHCP CONFIGURATION

Click COMMIT
Click Close,Close
Click SERVER MANAGER
Click TOOLS
Click DHCP then double click the domain name- Example STA.com
(Kanang naa sa tunga maoy I double click )
Double CLICK IPv4 then Click More ACTIONS
Click New Scope
Click Next
Type- in the name of your scoop desired – Example “ Computer Client”
Click Next
Fill – in the ff.inside the boxes
 Starting IP Address : 192.168.1.51
 Ending IP Address : 192.168.1.100

Look for the address leases – Example the( Scope) make sure that theres an IP
released for the Client PC- Click SCOPE [192.168.1.50) “ computer client” –Double
Click e Refresh ang Server PC.

3.ADDING THE CLIENT PC

 Power On the client PC and wait for the pop up message to appear
 Click Public Network then close
 Click Start and Right Click “Computer” then Click Properties
 Click Change Setting
 Click Domain and type the domain name of the server
 Type-in “Administrator” and password then click OK
 Click Restart Now

A.Secured Account: First STEP
 Partition the Drive into Two
 Change the Security Settings of the second Drive remain tjhese
three accpunts: creator,systems and administrators.
 Open the drive then create a new folder named TESDA Redirection .
 Right click the folder and go to Pro[erties
 Under sharing Tab Click ‘Advance Sharing
 Check ‘Share this Folder’and click ‘ permissions’ .
 Remove ‘Everyone and click ‘ADD’
 Type ‘Do’ then click `Check Names’
 Select ‘Domsin Users’ then click OK.
 Check ‘Full Control’ and click OK.
 Highlight Network path right click, and click Copy

Second Step

 Click Server Manager- Tools then Click Active

 Right Click the name of your Domain , point New then Click Orgazational Unit
 Type-in TESDA Redirection then click User . Type-in James
 Select Password never expires and type-in the password click ‘Next then click ‘ Finish’
 Right click the user you have created
 Click Properties then click profile Tab
 Click Connect button then select a Drive letter
 Under To: box paste the’ Network Path’
 \\server name\folder name\%username% click OK

REDIRECT THE FOLDERS OR CONFIGURE THE FOLDERS SELECTED BY ASSESOR IN THE SERVER PC

Third STEP

 Open the Group Policy


 Expand the Domain and right Click TESDA Redirection’folder then click ‘CREATE a GPO in this
domain ..
 Type a GPO Name then click OK
 Right click the policy you created then click Edit
 Double CLICK user CONFIGURATION,POLICIES,WINDOWS,SETTINGS,FOLDER REDIRECTION,. Then
Right ClickDocuments click PROPERTIES
 On the Target Tab Select Basic-Redirect EVERYONES FOLDER..’
 Paste the network path to the Root Path click OK
 Click YES

B.) UNSECURED ACCOUNT:

 Open Active DIRECTORY Users and Computers


 Right click the first account then click Copy
 Type-in John
 Select Password never expires and type-in the password then click ‘Next’- Click ‘Finish
 Right click the second user you have created earlier
 Click ‘Properties’then click ‘Member of Tab’
 Click ‘Add ’TYPE A then click ‘Check Names’
 Select Administrators then click OK

REMOTE THE CLIENT PC

1. Click Start
2. Click Remote Desktop Connection
3. Computer – Name of your Server PC- Ex: Contistable- LAST NAME Naku
4. Connect
5. Use another Account
6. Username : administrator

10. Display your lastname – Ex.Contistable / Name of your Server PC
MAKE A PARTITION ON THE DRIVE C: & FORMATTING THE UNALLOCATED DRIVE (SERVER PC) OR (CLIENT
PC)

1. CLICK Start
2. Right click my Computer
3. Click Manage
4. Username : administrator

7. Click Disk Management
8. Select or Point the Drive C- na naa sa ubos
9. Right click Select Shrink VOLUMe
10. Depende if unsay I ingon sa assessor – if 50/50 it means divided by 2 or half.if 50/20 it means
multiply it by.50 and.20 or times it.
11. The Total will going to divide or multiply

CORE4 : MAINTAIN & REPAIR COMPUTER SYSTEM & NETWORK

Create Back Up

1. GET you USB from the CPU para dili ma back upan
2. Install first Back-up EOMI for client (CLIENT PC)
3. INSTALL first BACK-UP EOMI for Server (SERVER PC)
BACKUPPING THE CLIENT PC AND THE SERVER PC USING AOMEI BACK

1. Install Aomei
2. Open or Double Click Back Upper Full
3. Username: administrator
