A Semi-Detailed Lesson Plan

I. Learning Outcomes:

At the end of the lesson, 75% accuracy of the P.E 3 College Students will be able to:

a. Cognitive: Identify the different types of shooting in football through lecture discussion.
b. Psycomotor: Perform correctly the types of shooting in football using station drills.
c. Affective: Demonstrate teamwork in a team through dynamic warm-up drills.

II. Learning Content:

Topic: Basic Shooting in Football

Materials: Ball, Visual aid, Masking Tape

Values: Responding, Cooperation and Creativeness

III. Procedures:

Activity:

 The teacher will divide the class into 4 groups.


 The teacher will prepare jumbled letters inside the envelope and distribute to the groups.
 Each group will receive one envelope and they assemble the jumbled letters to form words
 After 3 minutes, all groups will have two volunters to post their assembled words on the board
and the teacher will check their answer if it is correct or wrong.

Analysis:

The teacher will ask the following questions:

1. What are the different teamsports which involve shooting?


2. Why do you need to practice shooting skills in playing football?
3. How do inside shooting and instep shooting help you win the game?

Abstraction:

 The teacher discusses the importance of basic shooting in football;


 The teacher discusses the two basic shooting (inside and instep shooting)
 The teacher gives instructions about the station drill and stances; and
 The teacher demonstrates about the station drills and stances.
Application:

 The teacher will give a warm-up to the students


 Stationary jogging with inside shooting foot in football.(16 counts)
 Stationary jogging with arms upward, sideward, and downward.(16 counts)
 Stationary jogging with instep shooting in football.(16 counts)
 Stationary jogging with jumping jack. (16counts)
 Stationary jogging with high kness.(16 counts)
 Stationary jogging in place(10 counts)
 The teacher will divide the class into 3 groups:
Group I – Executes the one-step shooting or the first station drill;

Group II – Executes the two-step shooting or the second station drill;

Group III – Executes the three-step shoooting or the third station drill.

 The groups will take the turns after each station until each group will complete executing all the
stations.
