About the enterprise and products:

Currently, a series of centers and buildings attract visitors to visit and have fun. However,
this type of service gradually becomes boring and out of date, causing the centers to close
by the absence of visitors. This is a sign that there must be a plan to refresh the services
to re-attract visitors.

That is why Snowtown has appeared in Vietnam to create a unique attraction to visitors.
Snowtown with the technology to create snow and keep snow at the temperature of 20
degrees Celsius, Snow Town has gradually become a destination not only attracting
young customers but also teenagers. Snowtown is known as a unique snow amusement
park in Vietnam and Snowtown is one of the two largest snow parks in Southeast Asia as
well. Snowtown also offers new services and experiences such as skiing, taking pictures
with the scenery of a European village covered in white snow, and other interesting fun
activities.

Snowtown Vietnam hopes visitors to experience the diverse and unique services available
only here. In addition to making profits, Snowtown also wants to increase sales and
profits so that there are numerous of entertainment services, dining, and shopping areas.
Snowtown is not picky about customers.

a) Detailed introduction about the enterprise and products.

Snow Town and Icerink Co., Ltd belongs to Showa Holdings Amusement Business
Development Group (Japan) whose main products are snow-making technology
including equipments, machines, experience methods, control systems, as well as
providing tools used in the play area or even training staffs to be able to go into operation
professionally.

Target partners of Snow Town and Icerink Co., Ltd. Are the new Malls that need
customers or Shopping Centers that are already existing but does not attract many
customers. Snowtown motivate the curiosity of customers who are children or teenagers
in the areas that have no snow at all in order to stimulate demand.

The snowmaking technology of Snowtown and Icerink Co., Ltd. is considered as a


outstanding technology due to many factors.

- Low investment and operating costs: The company provides artificial snow technology
that can keep the snow from 18-24 degrees Celsius, which is as same as the tempature of
air-conditioners. Other expensive freezers are not required to maintain operations. This is
a great advantage in saving money for investors.

- Comfortable playing areas: meanwhile, other snow playgrounds have to use 0 degree
Celsius snow-making technology, Showa Holdings Amusement Business Development
Group provides a snowy environment in the range of about 18 degrees Celsius so that
customers can play and still feel comfortable and healthy, making the average sales per
customer increase.

- True Feelings: Snowtown's artificial snow-making technology produces microscopic


snowflakes with a moisture content of approximately 5-8 percent, while conventional
snowmaking technologies use a variety of chemical ingredients, produces small and high
humidity particles, around over 20 percent.

- Lighter weight: compared to other artificial snow products, Snow Town and Icerink
Company's snow is lighter in weight because of less water contained inside

- Snow Town: Snow Town's snow-making technology provides an amount of hard-to-


melt snow at higher temperatures than other artificial snow.

- Big thickness: Snow Town competitors' products are more sticky and have gaps
between the snow particles (because the smallness has not reached the point where snow
particles can fill in the gaps it creates, to snow particles play

Target customers: all kinds of tourists who come to Vietnam and have the desire to
experience the artificial snowtown with Japan snowmaking technology.

Mission: For the first time in Ho Chi Minh City, there will be a snow-covered town like
winter in Europe - Snowtown Saigon.

With Japan snowmaking technology, it will create pure white, fluffy snow with a
thickness of about 35cm. Moreover, the temperature is always kept at 18 degrees Celsius
in the 4,000 m2 area - Snowtown wants to bring a new and attractive entertainment area
to everyone, when you come here you will feel like you are walking in an autumn town
or small parts of Europe.

Snowtown - great choice for you to experience a "true winter" of Europe all year round
right in Saigon.

Targeting to recreate the real life of the Snow Villages, visitors will find snow-covered
houses in Snowtown, sparkling lights by the windows or walk along the suspension
bridge and enjoy the Winter landscape, panoramic view of the village. All these things
are interwovening and blending together to create an breathtaking picture.

The feeling of artificial snow here will be lealer with many enjoyable activities such as
skiing, molding snow, throwing snow or even recording many memories with friends or
family, etc. Besides, visitors can visit the restaurant, coffee shop or game centre outside
the snow area to fully enjoy Snowtown.

The factors that affect customer attraction:

To induce more data approximately the chosen location - Snowtown, we outlined a study
with questions approximately personality, location offices, estimating and client
encounter at the location. With a study number of 200 individuals matured between 18

As we all know, Ho Chi Minh City has a tropical climate, so being able to enjoy the

The structure is divided into 3 parts:

+ Micro ice: Humidity is from 5-8%

+ Regular snow: Humidity is 20%

Located at The CBD Premium Home, 125 Đồng Văn Cống Street, District 2. Being
faced 4 front roads (Dong Van Cong - Thich Mat The, ...) in the administrative center
of District 2, adjacent to Thu Thiem new urban area from The CBD Premium Home
Complex to District 1 center only 8 minutes in the direction of Thu Thiem tunnel,
only 10 minutes toward Phu My Hung urban area in the direction of Phu My bridge.
This building provides 4 commercial floors with an area of 20,000m2 with
commercial center, Galaxy cinema, library, gym, community room, outdoor
swimming pool area that is over 600m2, and also the Snow Town Saigon. We can see
that, these various factors will help you can not only have fun in Snow Town but can
combine with playing in other playgrounds in the same building.

Saigon Snow Village is known as the main theme when you come to this icy town.
This is a very great choice for you to experience a "true winter" of Europe all year
round right in Saigon.
Coming back with a completely new look after several-month close, Saigon Snow
Village will definitely get all the visitors in the fairytale world that make them feel
like they are entering a beautiful European suburb.
Creating a story of the real life of the Snow Village, visitors will find snow-covered
houses, sparkling lights by the windows or walk along the suspension bridge and
enjoy Winter landscape, panoramic view of the village above. All these factors are

- Birthday Party:
 Impressive party in winter European style. The party will have performances
such as thrilling magic repertoire, attracting activities. Options for party
themes are also very diverse. Parents can select the right one that is suitable to
their kids.
 The party menu is flexible when. Children can choose favorite food for their
happy party.
 Build a separate program based on each child's interests and Mascot activities,
magic shows, and bubble shaping.
 Children are free to appear with their favorite characters or dream occupation,
so they can feel themselves as the center of the party. This idea helps your

Photo Face-of season 4, The American Dream, Lucky Me, …

- Ice skating Training:


Experience a completely new and exciting sport for the first time in Vietnam.
Customers can absolutely try the extremely different cool and cool feeling when you
slide across the white snow slope nearly 8m high?
In particular, Snow Town also offers imported specialized ski kits, and a team of
professional coaches from abroad to wholeheartedly guide trainers to quickly master
the skills needed to conquer the snow.

Town. All create a different space, make a strong impression on visited guests.

Currently, tourism combined with teambuilding organization is a new trend favored
and is chosen by many companies. Connecting members through outside trips and
activities to build a strong team is something companies always pay attention to.
Foreseeing that need, Snow Town Saigon welcomes many groups of tourists such as
Vietravel tourist, Phuong Nam travel ... with tourism programs combining
teambuilding without going anywhere.
In addition, school picnics or extracurricular activities also choose Snow Town as the
venue. Notably, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, SG University of
Technology, ILA Language School, AIS Saigon, Saigon Star, KinderWorld ...
Depending on the specific needs of each group of guests, Snow Town Saigon will
design many different activities with all kinds of new entertainment that will bring

LCDs, elevators, escalators, booths, fanpages advertising.
Data analytics:

After conducted the survery about The Snow Toen Saigon, the result shows that there
are 156 results. Among them, there are 69 people have been to Snow Town Saigon.

From all responses we received through the survey about The Snow Town Saigon, the
result shows that there are 87 people have never been to, or had no chance of, getting
to know The Snow town. Among them, 74 people filled in that they had intention to
learn more about the amusement park after being provided with basic information
about prices, locations and services here.

Through the chart above, we can see that 69 customers who have been to Snow Town,
they know through social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, Youtube ... accounting
for the majority with the rate of 50.7% (35 people). From there, we can see that
advertising and communication through social networking sites are much more effective
at attracting customers than other forms. The second most popular form of
recommendation is from relatives and friends, a relatively high proportion with 47.8%
(33 people). Finally, the form known through review forums such as Foody, TripAdvisor,
groups on Facebook ... accounts for a low rate of 1.4% (1 person).
In one year period, Snowtown’s customers self-assessed how often they choose this place
as an hang out destination with the highest rate belong to “sometimes” accounting for
52.2 percent. The number of customers coming here with seldom frequency is quite high
with 44.9% percent. Besides, there are also a few customers who regularly come here to
enjoy and have fun with the rate of 2.9 percent. From there, we can see that the majority
of customers come here occasionally and rarely because of many different factors and we
will learn more through the following figures.

Through the chart given, we can see that most of the customers have satisfying feedbacks
towards the attitudes of the service staffs’ enthusiasm, as well as the insurance they
provide. Playgrounds always ensure the safety for the customers. The children's play area
and amusement park decoration also received positive reviews, more than the staffs’
attitude section as area decoration here is divided into zones with different styles and
many colors suitable for children. Furthermore, romantic man-made flower decoration
area is an ideal place to have perfect pictures for couples.

As for the food and drink in the amusement park, most of the customers have a normal
attitude and are not too impressed, because the price of food and drink is quite expensive
compared to the quality and quantity.

About the location of the play area, there are 20 satisfied customers and 15 satisfied
customers. In particular, the level of customers’ dissatisfaction and very dissatisfaction
with Snow Town in the position is higher than other items, because the amusement park
is located quite far from the city center, on a road with an underdeveloped traffic system
such as the central area, many large trucks, causing anxiety when moving to the
amusement park of visitors, which make it greatly

underestimated. However, this can be improved in the future when infrastructure in the
regions is gradually developed to match the urbanization image.

The ice-sliding zone is considered the soul of Snowtown because it is the most attractive
area for customers. Because of that, we choose ... customers to check the satisfaction
level of customers when experiencing here. Most of them are about the temperature,
truthfulness of snow, decoration, games, music, protective clothing. In detailed, the
temperature of Snowtown is highly appreciated when simulated to closely match the
temperature of temperate land (average temperature ..., snow machine ...). In addition, the
satisfaction level of snow authenticity, decoration, games, music and performing arts still
has shortcomings when certain customers (over 35, foreign visitors are familiar with with
snow) are not very excited about Snowtown ski area. Performances (macos, music, etc.)
in the ski area are also not appreciated when the majority of guests feel normal about this
category.

Most of the items in the ski area are rated with more than 20 customer satisfaction
ratings. However, in the performances in the amusement park such as mascot
performance ... the majority of customers rated it at a normal level and nothing special.
The reason may be that these shows only attract children between the ages of 6-14, but
for teenagers and adults, they are not very interested in these performances.

After having all experience at snowtown, the most stand out factor that guests coming to
this place feel most impressed is the space here, accounting for 69.6% of the percentage.
This is understandable when Snowtown is invested effectively in the decoration and
landscape items, there is only one small aspect that makes Snowtown not really stand out
is that the premises are a bit small compared to the size of the area. artificial skiing.
However, being able to experience skiing in a tropical country like Vietnam, guests still
enjoy it. The decoration and miniatures in Snowtown were also appreciated with 49.3%
of the votes. Snowtown often designs seasonal, holiday, trendy, and popular landscape
decorations. With 43.5% percentage, entertainment services and safety guarantee also
make a relative impression. These are the key factors that make Snowtown more
attractive, so not impressing customers at the highest level is seen as a must. The quality
of service and F&B are considered by few people as impressive of Snowtown with only
23.2% and 13%, respectively.

Advices that customers gave as they think these ideas will be great motivations as well as
valuable experience for Snowtown.

What customers want to improve most in Snowtown is location, 72.5%. Snowtown is


located in Thanh My Loi ward, District 2, more than 10km from the city center (about 30
minutes by motorbike), so many customers living far away find it quite difficult to come
here to enjoy. The variety of games is a factor customers want Snowtown to improve
even more, with 65.2%, ranked second. Additionally, the price here is reasonable but still
has 52.2% of votes. Preferential policies, discounts, customer care services, staff attitude,
F&B are still inadequate with more than 20% of votes for things that need to be
improved.

About the prices and the promotions, Snowtown gets a great deal of customer approval
with 68% of customers agreeing that their experience is worth the money they spend.
However, the remaining 32% at such a price, they still want more experience and more
value for money, most of these customers have commented on Snowtown a lot.

effective ways to promote a brand identity: word of mouth. With 84% agreeing and 16%
disagreeing, Snowtown is expected to be promoted more widely with a wider variety of
customers.

There are many people have heard or have known about Snowtown, besides that, there is
also a number of people have no clue what Snowtown is as well. And it depends on many
different factors. As can be seen in the bar chart, 47.10 percent of people showed that
they have no need about Snowtown or its services. Right after the first place is the reason
about the ineffectiveness of PR and marketing, which is at 46 percent. Meanwhile, 35.6
percent of people see that the location of Snowtown is very inconvenient.

Being asked whether or not to experience the Snowtown after consulting the price list,
with 48 responses received, 65% responded "I need time to consider", indicating they feel
the price offering relatively reasonable for their ability to spend. 8% of the total chose
“No", while 27% of the respondents chose "absolutely yes". This also partly shows that
the price list at Snowtown is not completely suitable for their income and affordability.
They believe that with that amount of money, visitors coming to the location will receive
more than just regular condition and more services and promotions will be provided.

From the chart given, our team found that, out of 49 responses, feeling skiing in a tropical
environment like Vietnam is worth trying once is in a majority with almost 50% of the
total. Meanwhile, feeling this is a good thing and it does sound pretty great also accounts
for a large part on the chart with 42.90%. This proves that people are also very curious
about the ski area located in the center of the city. However, a small fraction (4%) of
those who have never been to Snowtown still feel skeptical that they will be able to
experience a cold and snowy environment. Even 4.1% of them are not even interested,
quite indifferent to the experience with the special climate.

In general, the odds between the Snow town being built completely separately,
completely independent and with the amusement park that is still inside a complex
commercial building like The CBD Premium Home, are 51% and 49%, respectively. As
can be seen, Snowtown's location in any choice has its own positives. If built into a
separate play area, located in the frontage, Snowtown's identity will be somewhat higher,
when people pass by, it will be easy to get in and out without having to find difficult to
know where it is set. But if it were to be located in a shopping mall like it is at the
moment, there will still be recognition. Besides, the rental price of the premises will also
be more economical.

Suggestions for developing Snow Town Saigon:

ENJOY YOU SNOWDAY!

Based on feedbacks we got from customers about their playtime at Snowtown, our team
has identified the suitable trends, and targets to improve the amusement park in the
coming stages of development. We can see that throughout the survey process, the
prominent factor for the marketing development strategy is the youth. It is cleared that
they are very active, always ready to experience new things, have a lot of free time, as
well as having a wide network of connections and acquaintances. Moreover, social media
as an essential tool in their everyday life as they got all the information just in the nick of
time, they know how to use other technological devices. They got all the ideal conditions
for making the right campaigns:

1. Mascot and diversify in products.


Mascot is the most important thing of the enterprises. As for Snowtown, mascot here is
an ice bear but is it bring the expected efficiency?

The answer is no. There are numerous reasons for this trouble. First, Snowtown does not
exploit their mascot or symbol in a right way, they need to sell more products which have
their mascot or symbol on it as same as Tiny world and Kizcity did many years ago.

Second, Snowtown did not exploit all of their advantages that there is a lack of games
and services in the campus. The snow area is great but the only game that you can play is
sledding, there is no skiing, no ice skating and no snowboarding, at all. And in some
special events, such as Christmas or even Halloween, there is literally nothing is being
occurred or held in Snowtown. And that is such a pity.

On Christmas SNOWTOWN probably can have all of lights strung and ornaments hung
but you can always add to the collection. Set up a craft table with glitter, glue, and paint
to decorate glass balls or string a needle through popcorn to make an extra piece of
garland. In addition, playing some Christmas music by the time Christmas day arrives,
help customers to get into the holiday spirit! Also, laurel wreath is a must on Christmas
days. Some random Christmas gifts for children under 15 years old is also not a bad idea.

These enterprises attract even more customers than other holidays in a year due to the
decorations on Christmas. Vietnamese people have high demand of showing off
theirselves on real-life and even on social media so that these wonderful and gorgeous
places are always right places for them to record their memories.

And on Christmas there is also a popular theme that makes people visualizing or seeing a
Christmas picture.

Furthermore, on Halloween, Halloween is the perfect time to be creative — and creepy.


Decorating SNOWTOWN with scary and creepy pumpkins or lanterns will be fun and
very easy. Or even old crunchy fall leaves should cover the ground, Stick tombstones out
of the ground, trees covered with spider webs, skulls around the ground or tree branches
on the ground is a great idea too.
As same as Christmas Halloween have its own theme color as well.

If the decoration theme is maintain the same of all day in a year, it will be very difficult
for our enterprise to attract people of all age, especially 18 to 35 years old.
