Quality of Life Program
Lunched in 2018, the Quality of Life Program aims to enhace the lifestyle of the residents & visitors of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This initiative plan is to improve the quality of life of families & individuals residing & visiting Saudi Arabia. The main goal is to support, create
and supervise the avenues & environment that supports new livable and lifestyle options where the public can participate. These avenues can
be cultural, entertainment, sports, tourism, and urban activities or any that may nurture their quality of life. The final results of such diverse
activities will be positive impact on the economic and social outlook by creating jobs opportunities, thus positioning the Kingdom’s cities
amongst the best livable cities of the world.
Sectors directly impacting citizens were encompassed in the program which includes: sports, culture and entertainment. To achieve the
desired results, entertainment opportunities such as inaugurating the first cinema in the Kingdom and organizing many international events
were undertaken. Steps were taken to establish a number of cultural museums and music festivals. The Quality of Life Program has keenly
invested in developing Saudi human capital in these sectors, launching several academies and programs, such as the Talent Development
Program and the Mahd Sports Academy.
Another important sector – the Tourism Sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is initiated & strengthened to bolster both local & international
tourism, the aim of which is to position our nation as a global tourist destination. To achieve tangible results, the tourist visa scheme was
launched. Moreover, some of the historical sites were registered with the UNESCO World Heritage List. The hospitality sector was given boost-
now more citizens are hired in this industry than ever before. The program initiated the mechanisms for “ease of doing business” in the private
sector and simplifying & automating the licensing process to facilitate investors. Part of the initiative was establishing development funds such
as The Nomow Cultural Fund
In the next stage, the Quality of Life Program will continue its efforts in empowering the sectors of culture, heritage, sports, entertainment and
tourism. The program will soon launch the Hobbies sector, as well as its regulations and club licensing, in addition to supporting its
sustainability and success as an important lever in increasing quality of life. The municipal services sector is also one that the program has
recently received great initiatives for in the areas of urban landscape beautification, city humanization, and city services enhancement. Such
initiatives will help focus the efforts on all aspects of quality of life and secure high living standards for the Kingdom’s residents and visitors.
In a strong belief of the vital role the private sector plays, the program will also work on developing the necessary policies and regulations to
facilitate private sector’s investments in the above sectors ensuring their continuous development and sustainability.

Local Tourism – with total population of nearly 35,000,000 the Kingdom is the most populated country
amongst the 6 GCC nations. The event, entertainment industry is one of the fastest growing. These events
attract hundreds of thousand visitors thus resulting in the huge success. Riyadh, the Capital & the biggest city
alone has a population of nearly 10,000,000 hence any activity conducted is bound to succeed with
entertainment hungry crowds flocking.

With Riyadh, currently the hub of almost all major entertainment activities, The Kingdom of Snow is bound to
attract multitudes. The Quality of Life Program in full swing, the city has experianced major events like Riyadh
Boulevard, Winter Wonderland, Soundstorm, Autoville Festival, Al Waslah Music Festival, The Combat Zone,
Falcon Festival & Camel Festival to name a few. All these events combined has attracted millions of visitors with
Soundstorm alone attracting 700,000 visitors during it’s 5 day run.

The General Entertainment Authrority welcomes new initatives & IP. Various ministries like Ministry of Sports,
Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Youth are keen sponsors of unique opportunities & activities specially in Riyadh
region.

Snow Garden –
The snow garden is the most appreciated activation
for families and kids. It is the magic of being in the
snow.
Things to enjoy:
• The Polar Zoo with (synthetic) Polar Bears,
Penguins & other Polar animals
• Take pictures & selfies
• Mini-Ski Area
• Mini Sled on a snow mound
• Traino to pull very little kids
• Play, make Igloos (synthetic)

• Snowshoes are provided to everyone. These are
to keep the already worn shoes, dry and maintain
the cleanliness of the snow. They can e worn over
any footwear.

Slide ramp with jump into an airbag :
A 9m high scaffolding ramp with a wooden floor covered with snow. The
bottom of the ramp is shaped as a kicker.
Visitors ride on a air-filled tub, slide over the ramp and dive onto a 9m x 15m
airbag at the end.
An activity, loved by the young adults.
Open to people above 110cmof height.
Flow- one jump every 60 sec.
