1. After reviewing the three candidates in Exhibit A. I think that Alistar would have to consider
candidate number one Marie Erthen-Loiseau. This decision was based on three major factors
(Education, Experience, and Availability) for education Ms. Loiseau studied aeronautical
engineering in France and Germany. Has had over thirteen years of experience working for
the Trianon company in two different divisions within France and Germany and has
excellent leadership experience. I feel that hiring someone who understand the company
culture is better off leading projects as Ms. Loiseau pervious projects in the last three years
were deemed as remarkably successful. Lastly, the last major factor was availability.
Because this Quality Compliance Manger position required traveling within the first year, I
felt it was better to choose a candidate whose availability was open. Ms. Loiseau had one
child who was already in college whereas the other candidates had no availability due to
Skills and Selection Test. – This Process would be best used to help select a candidate
capable of joining the Trianon company. This is because finding out the type of person
needed for the job and its requirements are important especially when hiring for a company.
Having technical experience is a must to even be considered for the position with cross
cultural aptitudes and understanding of the company cultures. Having the Availability to
travel and be away for long period of time is necessary as the position is aboard. Language is
another factor to take into consideration especially if the hired candidate is to be traveling on
business trips and working in other countries. Lastly, Selection tests will help pool those best
