 What is matter ?

Anything that has mass and volume is called

matter. All objects around us have mass and
takes up space. So, all objects around us are
matter.

Chairs, cakes, books, waters, plants, animals and

even people are examples of matter.
 Matter has mass
Mas is the amount of matter in an object. Mass
tells us how much something weighs. Mass and
weight are two different things.
A scoccer ball feels heavier than a
ballon. The ball has more mass because it has
more matter within it. The ballon has less mass
because it is made of less matter.
