JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for providing strategic, financial and
operational leadership for the company and will closely coordinate and work with the
General Manager.

Responsibilities:
 Plan, develop, implement and direct the organization’s operational and fiscal
function and performance.
 Act as a strategic partner by developing and implementing the company’s plans
and programs.
 Analyze and make recommendation on the impact of long-range growth
initiatives, planning, and introduction of new strategies and regulatory actions.
 Develop credibility and authority for the finance leadership team by providing
accurate analysis of budgets, reports and financial trends and operational
procedures in order to assist the BOD and senior executive team.
 Create, improve, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the
organization that will improve operational and financial effectiveness of the
company.
 Assure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with
laws and regulations.
 Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
 Evaluate company’s financial, operational, and sales and marketing structures to
plan for continual improvements and a continual increase of operating
efficiencies.
 Mentor and interact with members of staff at all levels to foster growth and
encourage development.

2. Operations Manager - Also known as managing directors or chief operating officers,


general managers are tasked with overseeing daily business activities, improving overall
business functions, training key staffs, managing budgets, developing strategic plans,
creating policies, and communicating business goals.

Responsibilities:
 Oversee day-to-day operations, assigning weekly performance goals and assuring
their completion, while accomplishing your own goals
 Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees to achieve sales,
profitability, market share, and business plan objectives
 Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished on time
 Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans
 Delegate responsibilities to the best employees to perform them while enforcing
all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs,
and cultural values
 Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of those
involved
 Evaluating performance and productivity.
 Analyzing accounting and financial data.
 Researching and identifying growth opportunities.
 Generating reports and giving presentations.

3. Administration Staff - provide administrative and secretarial support for the Operations
Manager. In addition to data-entry, report-writing, filing and scheduling, will perform
duties such as payroll, coordinate direct mailings and as a receptionist. Other duties will
include scheduling complex activities, meetings and events.

Responsibilities:
 Plan meetings and conference calls.
 Arrange and manage meetings.
 Take and distribute meeting minutes.
 Maintain electronic and physical files.
 Maintain weekly schedules of employees.
 Organize and provide documents, reports and information.
 Coordinate work space, computer, and supplies for new employees.
 Maintain and reorder office supplies.
 Resolve administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports,
analyzing data, and finding solutions.
 Act as a liaison within the establishment and outside agencies, including other
staff such as CEO and President, when directed.
 Work independently and within a team on special projects, which could include
presentations, mailings, or proofreading.
 Acts as a receptionist too.

4. Accounting Staff - responsible for maintaining financial procedures and confirming


financial compliance through preparation of a company’s reports and statements. He/she
will usually report to the senior accountant or the General Manager.

Responsibilities:
 Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance

 Prepare and file tax returns

 Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy

 Organize and update financial records

 Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue


 Perform monthly bank settlements
 Prepare documentation for external auditors.
 Checking payroll records
 Reconciling accounts
 Handling reimbursements

5. Sales and Marketing Staff - Provides first-class service in order to push the sales of the
crematorium. He or She is responsible for researching and developing marketing
opportunities and planning and implementing new sales plans.

Responsibilities:
 Engages in superior customer service by making information readily available
 Persists in sales even in the face of failure
 Demonstrates products and services as deemed necessary by clients and
management
 Schedules appointments and meetings as necessary
 Answers questions from clients
 Makes product knowledge readily available to self and other sales people
through various resources
 Finds ways to sell products in the face of a down market
 Researches client base to find new types of customers and sells to them
accordingly
 Creates a plan for gaining customers and then retaining them based on
warranties or guarantees
 Analyzes and creates a plan for engaging the target market
 Analyzes the competition to create a plan for engagement
 Makes product appeal to the target market

6. Crematorium Technician – responsible for scheduling crematory activities, maintaining


the crematory's records and documents, maintaining crematory equipment, ordering urns
and other supplies, and taking care of the interior and grounds of the crematory. Some
crematorium technicians may help transport the body to the crematory, get the permits,
authorizations and permissions necessary to cremate the body, and return the remains to
the person's family while ensuring that all activities are carefully and accurately
documented and recorded. Crematorium technician must guarantee that the crematorium
operates according to the legislation and regulations.

Responsibilities:
• Carry out all routine maintenance duties in accordance with maintenance plans.
• Identify, report and perform ad hoc defective based maintenance on defective
equipment.
• Operate cremation machine
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date and timely plant history records of all maintenance
events.
• Support the operation of plant as required in a safe, efficient and timely manner in
accordance with operational guidelines and to meet output requirements.
• Operating cremation machine and keeping ashes in container.

7. Mortuary Assistant / Driver– performs as an assistant of the Crematory Technician.

Responsibilities:

 Assure that all work areas, working conditions, and work habits are performed in
accordance with company rules and regulations.
 Serves as the official driver of Stairway Crematorium.

8. Utility Personnel - Primarily responsible for maintaining & organizing company


properties and utilities so they are clean, safe, and suitable for use.

Responsibilities:
 Performs immediate cleaning duties necessary to maintain clean facility
 Performs other maintenance duties as assigned by the management
 Comply with Safety Standards
 Sweep and mop floors.
 Collect and dispose properly of all trash and recyclables on a daily basis.
 Do additional cleaning as assigned by management.
 Coordinates and assists with departmental and employee.
 Other utility/maintenance errands
