WHAT IS THE PROBLEM THAT NEEDS TO BE SOLVED?

Noise pollution impacts millions of people on a daily basis. The most common health problem it
causes is  Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL). Exposure to loud noise can also cause high blood
pressure, heart disease, sleep disturbances, and stress. These health problems can affect all age
groups, especially children.

Traffic noise.
Air traffic noise.
Construction sites.
Catering and night life.
Animals.
Physical.
Psychological.
Sleep and behavioral disorders.

LEARNED FROM THE TEXT?

We may reduce noise pollution by turning off appliances when not in use, using earplugs, turning
down the level, planting more trees, maintaining cars and machinery on a regular basis, and so
on. Controlling noise allows us to mitigate the harmful health impacts that noise pollution has on
everyone.

If you're worried about a buddy, it's vital to inform them about the changes that have you worried
and to ask them what's going on without making any assumptions. They may have a totally
different perspective on what they're going through, or you may just lack all of the facts. Some
individuals have difficulty talking about their experiences, but it is still essential to inquire about
what you can do to assist. Allow them to tell you what they require.

You can be available to listen.

When someone are going through something tough or perplexing, such as a suspected mental
illness or an alcohol or drug addiction, simply talking about their feelings and experiences may be
quite beneficial. You may be a buddy who listens without passing judgment (that last part is the
hardest). You may feel compelled to provide advise. Resist the temptation. Instead, simply listen
and be present. Reflect back what you hear every now and again so they know you're paying
attention. Instead of commenting, ask questions.
